Saturday Sunrise

I stepped out of Walmart Saturday at 6:50 AM, to a beautiful sunrise.  Top of collage is looking east and the bottom is west. There was a storm on the way and the sun was reflecting on the storm out in the gulf of Mexico.

The sky was beautiful for my five-minute drive home and the last photo is from my garage when I got out of the car.
Alert! about using Vinegar and Dawn and Water to clean tile floors. It cleans them really well, but if you use to much vinegar, it gets slick as glass.
Use 1/2 cup Vinegar to 2 gallons of water, which is perfect.

Gorgeous, gorgeous sky!!! It seems like the sky is at it's most beautiful before and after a storm.

That last photo gives the impression of your street being a rural village in New Zealand - low houses, well apart, plenty of space, few fences, lots of trees... We might like living where you are (apart from the heat). Do your shops open really early or stay open all night? xxx Mr T

Gorgeous sunrise, love the colors. I hope the storm was not too bad.
We had a good amount of rain yesterday. Take care, enjoy your day!

Beautiful sky.
Is your Walmart open 24 hours? The ones here shortened their hours when Covid started and I don't know if they ever changed them back.

Real pretty skies! Pretty photos! Thanks for the tip on the ratio of vinegar and dawn. How much dawn do you use?

Wow! Watching that sky would be better than watching television.

I can't decide which of the first two is my favorite!
Doesn't it make you a little sad for those people who choose to sleep late?

The sky was beautiful - interesting what can change in 5 minutes.

The morning sky is really gorgeous. I especially like the storm clouds brewing in the west.
So glad you captured it.
We are getting a break in our heat wave..thank goodness...
The AC not cranking on all night long is such a relief.
I did an extra day of care-giving yesterday..that really wasn't too difficult. She snoozed a lot and we even went outside for about 20 minutes or so. that helped the paycheck a bit too so it was all good.

Oh, Sandra!!! I love how you love to get up early!! We are wired so very differently and yet I love you dearly!! We will be getting up early on Wednesday as we head back to Texas and the ranch. Still....it will be daylight before we get on the road. No more driving before the sun comes up for us!
So you can see in the dark??? Good for you! The sunsets blind me and the dark is a no go. This limits us in the winter....
