As Yamini say, Less Speak, More Peek!
Above photo I had raked the stuff off the deck so we could walk without falling
Entire pool deck was covered,
we dragged the limbs, used two trash cans to haul the leaves and brush to the curb
We are blessed!
Where do we start! the entire yard was covered, the front also. this gives you and idea of why we are still sore and I can't type much, if you get strange comments, I am reading blogs and talking to type and my brain fog doesn't catch mistakes. I have stories to tell but not yet.

Yes, you only have to let the pictures do the talking my dear! YAM xx
I agree - the photos speak a thousand words. I am so very sorry. Where would you start on something like that? Seems overwhelming.
What a mess! But it could have been worse.
Oh my goodness...what a mess you've had to deal with. I am so sorry for all the damage and work it caused. Take care of yourself...or try!
No words needed to describe that mess. Please rest and we will all be here when you feel better. I'm so sorry you had to live through this huge hurricane and face the damage afterwards. Hurricanes don't end when the storm is over. I can sit here and read about the hurricane and be glad my friends survived and then think it's over with. While it definitely is not.
Oh wow, that is a mess. I can only imagine how sore your bodies felt cleaning up your yard and pool. I hope you are getting some rest and healing now. Take care, enjoy your day!
This is pretty much just how I thought it would look. It is totally amazing to me that you both were able to do such a huge and physical job! Maybe God given strength
What a testament to Ian's wrath! Pretty sure Tom and I couldn't (or wouldn't) have been up for the job.
I'm curious -- where did the three of you take shelter during the worst of the storm?
What a mess. I guess it could've been worse, but it still was a lot of work I know. Harvey a few years back played havoc with our yard and fences.
Sandra my world I cannot imagine what when thru your minds when you saw all of this. What in the world do you do about the pool water? How can you get that clean enough to use?
Can Beau go out in the back? I know you said part of the fence was smashed?
Hugs Cecilia
Oh boy! No wonder you are sore. Wish we were there to help. Sending more hugs your way!
Please take care of yourself and take time to recover from the trauma and all that work. Gobs of hugs and best wishes. ❤️
Oh my gosh, that was so much to clean up. I could never have done what you and Bob have been doing. Praying your life can kinda get back to normal again.
Sending so much love and gentle hugs your way. You and Bob are such strong people(both actually and figuratively)!!!
Poor thing, it looks like a big job for the clean up
that's scary to see what nature can do... trees are like matches or a tooth pick... wow....
Good grief- all your besutiful big plants that have grown so well for the first time in years. I must send you a peom about lufe in the Australuan outback. You might appreciate the humour. Xxx F
OH MY WORD my friend, I can imagine the mammoth task. Take care and hope you get some rest. xxx
That is a mess. I can only imagine how tired the two of you had to have been from doing all that work. I keep thinking that I'm so glad you had the tree and roof taken care of before Ian hit. Who knows what would have happened if you hadn't.
Truly a big mess for you both to tackle, but you did and now should rest as much as possible, Sandra.
Thanks for sharing the photos. What a mess!
That hard physical labor hurts me to just look at it.
So sorry you had to do that back breaking work for so many days.
Sue
I'm catching up here and you are right! No words needed!
