The Good The BAG and the Ugly

Who invented the re-sealable bags for frozen fruits?
HE must have the strength of the Jolly Green Giant, because my fingers will NOT open the bag as directed and I must use scissors. Or even death by bagicide, could be me or the bag.

The Good The Bag and The Ugly
Inside the bag is GOOD, opening the bag is horrible, the Ugly is how I act when fighting it.
The really bad and ugly is its one more bag in the environment!

Death by bagicide

I love your bag movie titles. I just tried to open a frozen food bag today. Had to use the scissors. I'm with you on this.

I usually use scissors too. It is what it is.

You are too funny. I had to open one of those bags the other day and I had a heck of a time. It was quite frustrating.

To bag, or not to bag, that is the question.

I've heard of bag ladies before, but this is new to me...

...I have nothing to add! (Unless you are interested that I always transfer such contents to one of my freezer containers once finally ripped open, so the bag never has to be wrestled with again.) YAM xx

Scissors always to hand in our place too. Catfood pouches regularly present the same problem, and those 'peelable' cheese packages. F even struggles with some of those re-sealable strips that lock themselves together (or don't lock themselves together when required to do so). We laughed at your movies, but we are not clever enough to add to that. We love your new header picture BTW. xxx Mr T and F

100% in agreement. The bags have that little area at the top that says 'tear here'. However when you tear it takes off so much of the package there is nothing to grip.

I guess we all belong to the Bag Society.
Those bags can really send me over the edge..why oh why are they so hard?
Love your movie titles and my giggle this morning.
Hope you have a good day and your shoulder is healing.

Bag Storm Rising ... love it! Not so much those self-sealers; I'm right there with you. It doesn't help matters any that Tom looks at me like, "What?" and will come over to show me. Of course, it totally behaves when HE does it.

You're funny. It's true though. Some of those freezer bags and even non freezer ones are hard as heck to open.

I more often than not reach for the scissors. You came up with hilarious movie titles.

I agree! The packaging os so much stronger than I am! It's easy to hurt yourself trying to get things out of the hard plastic! Glade plug ins are really packaged up tight! Even BLEACH! I have a hard time pushing DOWN while TWISTING! and THEN there's a seal you have to pull up after you get the cap off!!

Hello,
I always have trouble opening bags, I take the scissors out right away.

Take care, enjoy your day!

You're right about those bags. We get frustrated all the time.
