Bottle full of Power??

Two weeks ago, I succumbed to all the ads on TV about this product and purchased the above bottle to do my own testing.
I do not leave dishes in the sink or anywhere else for food to dry on them, but I did test this on greasy pans and the stainless-steel sink, and it does make it easier to remove grease.
I bought it only for ucky pans.

I spray on bottom of pan and let it soak, and if there is stuck fast fishy stuff in the pan, I put a tad of water and spray with power Wash and let it sit for a few minutes.

I must say here, if you do what they do in the ads, spray all that food and grease and spray off with water, you will soon be calling a plumber to remove said grease from your drainpipes.

after soaking the pan, I use a spatula to scrape it loose and pour the mess into glass jars that I wash and keep for this purpose.
Tighten lid and place in garbage bag.
I give it a 9, deducting a point because of Cost.

I might add the deduction back and raise it to a 10 because I did have PHUN with insta-toon and the bottle.

We use this! Next to last pic is the only time I have ever seen dishwashing liquid look beautiful.

We don't have stuff like this so resort to feeding the scraped out bits to the fox and crows, and apply elbow grease and ordinary dishes soap to the rest. Agree with you about blocked drains. You should look up stories about fat mountains in sewers in London. Vile. Love the last pic.

I soooooooo agree!!! I did exactly that what they tell in tv but with fairy... and because the dish washer runs with the same connection I had to remove faulty ole stinking water from the dishwasher because everything was blocked. no good thing to be the main actor of your own Grease musical... sigh....

I've seen the ad and wondered if it worked as well as they say. I'm too cheap to buy it though. I scrap all my grease into an old coffee can.

I wipe excess fat from pans with paper towels (which in turn go with foodwaste to be recycled to bio-gas here). Try to use as few chemicals as possible and also as little fat as possible down the drains.

I do what Dawn Treader does - and don't use soap of any kind on my dishes. Just hot water and elbows! Then again, I rarely have very greasy stuff to deal with. But I do like your photo edits of the bottle! YAM xx

Hello,
We always wipe out any pan we use, especially ones with grease.
The grease is really bad for the pipes. It is a shame that it cost so much.
Take care, have a wonderful day!

Thanks for the product review, Sandra, as regular users of Dawn detergent, we first wipe grese from a pan and then let it soak with hit water and Dawn. It works every time, so it is unlikely I would buy another product. And, as you said, never pour cooking grease down the sink drain.

That's interesting. I might soak a pan or dish for a few minutes but I hate dishes in the sink. I rinse them and put them in the dishwasher and run it every night after dinner. Thanks for sharing this!

I like dawn. Love your pretty pictures.

I use Dawn but in the pump version. My daughter likes the spray Dawn but I found that I could 'feel' the mist when I sprayed it and wondered if it was going into my lungs! I guess maybe that would mean clean lungs? lol. xo Diana

Sandra I am convinced you could show us a speck of dust and turn it into the best story in the world. You have such a gift of what we used to call gab that you turned into a wonderful gif to read

I sue this too and it is awesome.
It is expensive.
I never pour grease down the drain either. ♥

We love this! Tom originally bought it to try and remove years of built-up grease/yuck on one of his (rc) engines ... even the sap that collects on the top of his truck's hood. Now I keep a bottle under the sink for sticky messes -- even cleaning my tennis shoes.
Yep on the grease. If the mess is sizeable, I throw it in a grocery bag at the bottom of our freezer, then send it out with the weekly trash on Tuesday mornings.

Dawn is pretty great for so many things. I am sold on it.
I like your spray gizmo for using it.

I agree with Mind’s Eye, you could talk about a speck of dust and turn it into the best story in the world. I love you and your posts. ❤️

Sounds interesting. I have not tried it. Good idea not putting that stuff down the sink.

Mom has a bottle of that too, and she only uses it for extra tough cases. But she does think that Dawn makes a really good product. She regularly uses Palmolive when it is on sale at Costco in the big bottle. Then she pours it into a smaller once she keeps on hand.

I have not seen the add, but I bet it is good. I always have liked dawn dishwashing liquid. One of the local plumbers said one of the best things if your kitchen sink is plugged up is have boiling water and add Dawn to it, and pour it down the drain. (I use backing soda a vinegar...it cause a reaction but it works.
