Stand Sit Stand Stay

I wanted to tell you my back is better because I now do my stand, Sit, Move, or Stay while using my different devices.
Above I have the iPhone on top of bob's chest of drawers on the Pillow Pad purchased several years ago to use while reading in bed. prior POST on Pillow pad shows many ways I use it

It is the perfect height for standing and reading. The dresser not the pillow 😛

I move from desktop chair to sofas in living room, the chair in LR or chair in Bedroom.
I also sometimes stand at the breakfast bar with the Chrome book, and I use the Chromebook or phone in the chairs.
The object is to not spend more than 10 minutes ANYWHERE while on a DEVICE.
Change devices, change sitting/standing.
While moving I noticed this heart on the bed and decided to sit it in the chair and show it to you.
His story Fits well with my Sit/stand/Stay post because all of what I am doing will help me ward off the need for one of these pillows and keep me free of pain.

and there it shall STAY~

It is a Signature Pillow from Blake Heart Institute.
The team that did Bobs Open Heart Surgery all signed it and wrote great things about what good patient Bob was.
It is dated 10-/23/2007. Bob had turned 71 on Oct 1.
The Pillow is faded from Florida sun and is hard to read, but sitting in the chair, it says,
Here We Are at age 86, with heart still beating, alive and well.

A very cool pillow. And you have mastered how to control your back!

Good To know your back is better. You get some exercise moving from room to room. The heart-shaped pillow is very nice.

Hello,
It is good you have learned how to take care of and prevent back pain.

The heart pillow is cute! Take care, have a great day!

Where there’s a will etc etc. you’ve certainly found the way!
I have one chair indoors and one outside that works for me and my back. Standing does it no good and sitting on hard chair exacerbates the problem…..

That heart is such a great visual. I got a little note card signed by the staff at the surgi-center last week. Little things (like that) mean a lot, don't they?

Again, I'm struck what a great advocate you are for your own health. I suspect a lot of people are inclined to sit around, pop pills and complain. You'd make a great coach.

I love you and your structure for each day. It seems to be working and giving you relief..that's so good.
Love the pillow from the heart doctors..what a fabulous keepsake.
When Dave had his cataract surgery, everyone involved signed a card and it was sent to us. So unexpected and thoughtful.

We have a couple of those pillow pads too, they are sure useful. The Dad uses on in his music room to hold his iPad that he uses to display sheet music.

I'm so glad Bob is doing so well. That's a blessing. I like that you are moving around every 10 minutes. Do you set a timer?
