French Bread-my best of IBS friends

I used Food Mode on my Samsung A14e Cell phone

I learned from the web site Help for IBS that French Bread is IBS friendly. In one of my daily news letters from the site, Heather said when our tummy is empty when we wake up, we have to be careful that we put soluble foods in first thing. She suggested a slice of French bread, it has no processed foods or chemicals, and a few spoon of unsweetened applesauce to start the day. Eat that first before your protein. Each week  I buy this bread from Wal-Mart bakery, it is baked daily on site. Come home and slice and put in gallon size zip lock baggie and freeze.

Each night i take out the daily amount and it is fresh and ready for my first cup of coffee. I eat bites of it and sip my coffee.

She says NO Coffee, I can't live without it. Two cups max  each day. I am thankful I found her websites and that she steered me to this bread.

Now that is a breakfast I could envy. I start with redbush tea and put off eating until lunch time (and consume way too much coffee while I'm hanging out for lunch)

Interesting. I wonder what the difference is between french bread and others? Where I work, the french bread is made with the same dough as the italian bread is. I'll have to look at the list of ingredients on the box.

Very interesting! Sounds a bit like the BRAT diet, with bananas, white rice, applesauce and white bread toast. (I think that is how it goes). I tend to have some IBS symptoms and perhaps I need to try this as well. Thank you for the tips! Glad to know it works! Have a lovely day!

I would doubt that French bread is consistently made to conform with the original formula, but what you have found obviously is compatible with your diet. I wonder if it’s possible to have the Walmart bakery divulge their recipe?

First of all I am all kinds of Thankful and Happy Dan and his experimental friend were caught before the built the fire in the oven and OMDs roof diving with a umbrella parachute. I've always heard the God Lord only gave boys to parents with nerves of steel. WOW That mom who left the 6 yo at home alone would face all kinds of legal actions nowadays.

We love bread. I bought some sourdough today to go with 2 suppers this week.

I'm so glad you (and Heather) happened on this super start that doesn't play games with your digestive system!

That first photo is amazing; every crumb so detailed. Wow.
You're making it hard not to go over to Verizon and check out the A14e!

I'm so glad you found some things that work for your digestive issues. Dave and I LOVE our bread too, too much.
I do love sourdough french bread. Maybe that would be a good start to my day and keep the tummy settled.
Working so hard on our eBay stuff..plowing through tubs of stuff...treasures..and praying we can make a bit of money and purge..purge..purge..

I buy the same W,M. bread! It is very good and fresh. And Aldi has some with only three ingredients, as well. This is a swell idea!! I adore bread, maybe even more than chocolate!!

I didn't know that about French Bread, yum! I mostly gave up coffee when I retired, but I have a cup every couple of weeks.

That's good to know 'cause I suffer from IBS too. Mine is triggered by raw veg's especially cabbage or lettuce. Yowee! I've got to stay away from those now. My salad days are past. So be it. Good thing I'm mostly carnivore now.
Thanks for sharing this.
Blessings. 💙
