How Procreate Works for me Part 1

A snip of my iPad when starting a canvas.

Procreate is like having a blank white canvas. With a digital pen or my finger, I can draw, I can color with crayons, water paints, oil paints, whatever I choose. the slides you see up on left, make the brushes thicker, thinner, light darker. You can draw your own flower and make a stamp to use or do all that I did with these stamps someone else made.
I have been drawing and coloring and in the past week, found brushes to download that are what you would call stamps if you were making greeting cards. You stamp and then your do what you want with it to make it better or sometimes worse ha ha, and simply tap the screen with two fingers and it erases and you start again... If you are familiar with Photoshop, this canvas uses layers and each time you do something you do it on another layer.
I downloaded a brush set that is Flowers. Above I chose a black canvas, and this is what the flower looks when I Stamp it... I can make them any color, large, small, duplicate.

My style is Neon on Black on this blog. Above is how I started and below are
how they ended up. Its like customizing an old piece of furniture or a car. Make it your own.

I did this one on white canvas, and liked it but wanted a black background, for use on a new header.
I changed to a black background and played with the setting curves, to make it neon.
I chose this one for my new header because I love the color.

I like what you did with these. Third picture down was y favorite until I saw the last one. I didn't realize it but you can also turn the background off and save as a PNG so it would just be the image you created with no background.

Those look great! It's hard to chose which one is the best. I like them all. Ok, I do prefer the yellow flowers, green stems, and white background. Those are kinda my colors. Very nice. And it reminds me how I'm SO ready for Spring.
Love ✨

Thank you for this 'splanation! You make it sound really do-able, but I know it's still way above my pay grade so I'm going to admire and clap from the sidelines. Your new header's so pretty, but the big red bloom practically took my breath away.

Stunning new banner. I love it! What fun you're having with the digital art. I love it too. I love my digital pencil. It comes with an eraser which is handy.
