Ann of SnapEditScrap draws a sketch a day, I copy what I see in my mind.
These are from weeks ago.
I added an old pic of bob and Beau, to a photo I took while walking Beau and asked the question why did Ann's Chickens cross the street? 😂😂😂😂 |
All of these but the last one were drawn while sitting at the bedside in hospital/rehab home over 26 days. I have no energy to find all the things I copied but wanted to post them.
I will be posting erratically and visiting the same way. I NEED to blog.
The reason is,
I never have "nothing" to do!
No, this is not bad English.
What this means is, there is never a moment and for the past 5 months, since Bob stopped walking, that I have nothing to do, as in Every moment of every day has so much to do a lot of it doesn't get done.
I am going to force myself to stop and post a blog.
Bob is worse not better, but I will not be reporting that. I do not believe he will ever get better but will get worse.
We do have appt with Neurologist Tomorrow at 11:20.
Since Bob came home 30 days ago, I have been unable to draw. This week Ann posted this and I was able to sit and paint on iPad.

I am exhausted just thinking about all you have to do, Sandra. The sad truth, as you say, is that Bob is unlikely to get better. Somehow or other, I think that accepting reality helps, although I am not quite sure that ‘s any consolation. . I am glad that you found at least a little time to dabble on the computer and check in with us,

I echo David's comment - and LOVE your doodles. Do what you can, surrender the rest unto the Lord. YAM xx
we often think about you..... wish I had elves I could send you... maybe we can make the owl to our heraldic berd, I currently look and feel like that LOL
I love all of them. Especially the one with the picture of Bob and Beau. That's a lot of chickens crossing that road. I wonder if they were afraid of Beau.
It's no wonder you haven't been able to draw. You've got so much going on in your life right now. It's a wonder you have time for anything.
Hello Sandra,
I love all your art, the first one with Bob , Beau and the chickens is great. Your copies are wonderful, I loved them all. I am so sorry to hear Bob will not get better. I know you are busy, but it is good to take time for yourself. My time is when hubby is sleeping, he takes naps during the day. I hope the Neurologist appointment goes well, maybe some good news. Take care, sending hugs and prayers!
I love your chicks in boots.Despite all your travails, your pictures are full of life and energy and humour.
Acceptance of the inevitable brings a measure of peace.
I love seeing your art and I'm glad you are doing just a little bit of it, it's good for you in the middle of all this busyness and stress.
Prayers continue for you and Bob.
I'm so happy you did something for you. That's a good thing.
Have a fabulous day. A big hug to you and lots of scritches to Beau. ♥
I agree with Sandee and am very happy you are doing something for you. Sending love, hugs and prayers your way!
Bless your heart...I know life as a caregiver requires so much time. So glad you found the time to draw.. each one is so delightful.
I love your drawings. They are painted brightly, these should be the days, anyway.
It's good to see your doodles again and we think they are so cute!
WORSE??!!!! Unbelievable!!! Please e-mail me as soon as you can after the neurologist visit. I was so happy to see you posting, doing what you love. But this is bad news. YES, you need to give up other things so you can blog! It will save your sanity. You HAVE to have some kind of time for yourself so your brain does not burn out. I love your cow and lightening bug in a jar, you seem to draw even better during stress. My heart is just crying over you.
I'm so sorry about Bob being worse, not better. I think it's good that
he will have a neurology test, at least you will know what's going on and should be able to get appropriate help for him. At least I hope so. I'm glad you are blogging and you are inspiring me to at least start to think about going back to blogging. Our blogging friends are loving and caring people and I'm sure their comments must help you. Sending love to you, Bob and Beau
You may not have any time, but I am glad you are making time for you. I am so sorry about Bob - I hope the neurologist can tell you something tomorrow. I LOVE all your pictures - I love the giraffe. I do think you get a lot of love and support from your bloggers that you need. Prayers for all.
Everyone has said just about everything that I would have said myself. Sad at what you are dealing with. I'm glad you're posting when you can. Loving your take on Ann's drawings. A little play time to show your friends keeps us all in touch and you doing that when things are so hard, says a lot about you. Prayers still heading your way.
Blogging is theory and yay on your art I like the lightning bug...
I've caught a few in mason jars too
Hugs Cecilia
Being a caregiver is extremely hard, especially when the chances are the patient won’t get better. You have way too much to do and saving your sanity has to be towards the top of the list. Thank you so much for posting. I think of you often and will be especially thinking of you tomorrow morning when you talk to the neurologist. I love your work, especially that cow. Much love and hugs. ❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕
It is nice to see a post from you and you sharing your drawings. I'm so sorry to hear about Bob not getting better. That is very sad news. My heart aches for you. Take care and God Bless all of you.
