Learning Curve on AI

The first time I opened ChatGPT AI, I opened the site, clicked on images, it said take a photo, clicked on that, my camera opened on iPad and I took a photo of our TV and sofa and ottoman with Beau in his spot on the carpet.
In describe what  you want, I typed put an elf on the ottoman, on a beach in Florida with palm trees.
YIKES! zoom in on the elf.
I cropped it below.

AI wants descriptive words and doesn't like simple commands

The 2nd time I used Chat AI, I took a photo of my framed photo of my cousin Andrea and I, in our back yard, when we were 5 years old.. I am on the left.
The photo hangs in my hall. I simply uploaded the photo and clicked on Sketch, kept it simple and said, place the two girls under a giant pecan tree in Savannah Georgia. WOW!

If we remove the barn, from the snapshot above, this is what the it looked  behind the buildings. The tall roof is Andrea's home, the short one on the right is the chicken coop.
I spent the first 10 years of my life, living in their chicken coop, that uncle Jimmy remodeled, into a 4 room and tiny bath home for us. 20 steps from their back door.
Born during the war, in 1944, this is Savannah GA 1949 in the sketch.
AI got it perfect, it is even more like us than the photo shows. It saw details not shown to naked eye in the small photo.
My 3rd time using Chat turned into all the sketches you have been viewing  over the past few days using old photos of Me, Bob and Beau.
Guess what just happened, I saw out to the right in blogger draft a pen and star, hovered and it said Google search, link your blog, I clicked it and it linked Savannah GA 1949 to the post. I did not pick the link Google AI did it. I will not be using this, it picked several things, all the links you see, and when you click it takes you to search the words it picked. I am leaving it because
Now you can see the city as it looked when I was a child.

This is amazing! And you are both so cute. I only use the AI co-pilot on my browser. don't know a thing about ChatGPT or how to work it. Could not even load a pic on the co-pilot. You are a tech expert and always have bene.

It's kind of fun to 'play ' in Chat GPT, though I would rather use my brain when I make those mementos for our blogging friends. Chat GPT did an amazing job on your childhood picture! As it did on all the other sketches.

As a lot of my fun on any given day is found in doing research for myself, I will not be using the magic wand on blogger dashboard (I'm really annoyed it can't be toggled off). I am impressed with the results you got from GPT though. YAM xx

You have done amazing things with AI and your pictures. You've truly mastered it. That's a funny looking elf in the first one

Hello,
You are having fun with the AI programs. I have not even tried to use it. The photo of you and your cousin is so cute. Take care, enjoy your day and have a happy week ahead.

I am sure that AI would have no trouble composing a great picture with those two little cuties to work on. Even I could do that!

It's a learning curve with ChatGPT. It has FINALLY started to understand what I want on some things (Periwinkle and Stinky are great examples).

Incredible, yessss!
I love this image of the two of your adorable selves. I wish more people dressed their little girls like that again. That saying on the photo frame is sure something!

I've not really played with AI to know anything about it. I need to explore and see all the neat things that can be done

Wow, that's pretty interesting. However, as you know I am not a fan of AI. I'm glad you didn't go further.

You are having so much fun with the AI link. Its a terrific picture of you and your cousin in the "perfect" background. I liked that there were even pecans on the ground around you.

I can't deny AI can do some cool stuff, especially with photos.

On my blog you asked about Carl driving. He can drive because his mother was determined she was not going to have to drive him around his whole life. He has a genius level IQ just like the rest of his family, but oxygen deprivation at birth left him with no executive function, the capacity to make a plan, measure your progress with it, change in the middle if needed, etc.

His mother taught him to drive by keeping his permit and practicing with him every single day for two years. He drives very well as long as he knows the route, and there's a tracker on his car, he can only go where his parents permit.

I have had that pen and star hovering for quite a while now, accidentally happened to touch it once and got lots of totally irrelevant auto-links inserted... I got rid of them before publishing but would rather get rid of the possibility (or put it somewhere where you don't happen to touch it accidentally). If I want to link to something I'd rather do it myself...
Haven't played with chatgpt and images (yet) but you+it did a good job with your photos :)

This AI is absolutely amazing and what a great photo of you and Andrea. And to think, all of this is only just the tip of the iceberg.
