Good Fence Thursday - Winter Residents

Comes November in the North and the leaves start turning gold.
The next thing you know it is turning really cold.
Leaves start to falling
and kids start snowballing.

And most of the cold retirees move to Florida's Winter Paradise for a few months.
which is the reason our winter population swells almost double from November through April.

DeSoto Square Mall Neon Signs

Window in the mall

Conversation Bob and MadSnapper

Bob: “What is the guy’s name on  Blacklist? “

Sandra: “Reddington, they call him Red.”

Bob:  "Oh, like me, they called me Red”

Sandra:  “I know, your hair was red when you were younger”

Bob:  “No, it's because I am "Retired Extremely Dangerous”

Sandra:  “Yes, because you are "Retired Extremely Dangerous" to your own health”

Bob: “well maybe it stands for "Retired Extremely Dumb”

Sandra: " you got it"

Two things you need to know..................

1. We are avid fans of The Blacklist on TV and recently watched the movie RED..
2. Three weeks ago Bob came home from the park limping, with blood running down one leg and both arms.

Sandra: "WHAT DID YOU DO THIS TIME?"

He climbed a 6 foot chain link fence to retrieve his radio control airplane. He got all the cuts and scrapes on the way over, On the way back over the fence HE JUMPED FROM THE TOP… landed on both heels, hard. Sprained his ankle, stayed swollen for 10 days, his heels were black and blue and it aggravated the gout in both knees. He is 78 years old...

You Decide, is Bob RED or RED?

Desoto Square Mall - Skylights

We had lunch Saturday under the Mall Skylights
Joys of old age..

I have more knowledge but no one wants to hear it. My friends Think they have more knowledge, but I don’t want to hear it.

In our “old age” our  "Irritation Gene" has developed a ‘hair trigger” .

Bob and I both suffer from this  and sometimes our home sounds like the Gunfight at the OK Corral. And a few minutes later we don't even know why we were irritated...at what or with each other...

We also get irritated at inanimate objects.  Shovels that will not shovel, Doors that are hard to open or close...even automated garage doors that refuse to STAY DOWN when we are backing out..

Or when we try to step in our jeans or underwear, the clothing fights with us refusing to let one foot go through the hole......

causing us to trip and as Molly the Wolly would say, HBO words flow from our mouth. I want to rip them, or  Kick them across the room but I know if I do I might injure my foot or even throw out my back. OR heaven help fall on the floor myself.

Heaven help the inanimate object I drop on the floor for the 3rd time..there goes the HBO words again...

This  is not me, it has to be that Hair Trigger on the irritation gene!

How is your irritation gene????
