Holiday Traditions

My oldest son was born in 1965, I purchased the tiptoe Santa for his first Christmas for 99 cents. Santa is 52 and son David will be 53 in Feb, other son will be 51 in Feb. Each year since they were born, this cute Santa sits somewhere in the house. This year he is standing in the starry lights in my nook.
Since 2009 my Christmas Tradition is making cards for all you blogger friends and posting HERE for you to read.

Above is my other tradition, the garland made of glass beads has been on my tree every year since 1944, my first Christmas after I married and moved out, mother gave them to me. The garland is about 3 feet long and a few of the glass beads are peeling paint and cracked but they still hang there.

Bells and  toes by accident, I laid my bells on the glass table and SNAPPED! then I took the pic into PIP CAMERA below and got rid of the toes and added bows.
After that I created the double bells at the top...

Ho HO HO

Interesting sight as  I stepped out of the restroom at Wal-Mart last week.  Bazinga! Instant Cozy Fireplace with tree and chair... zooming in....

I found my sweet friend the Wal-Mart greeter  that smiles me into the store every Saturday morning at 6:30 am. His photo was in the chair saying Santa Claus Is coming to Wal-Mart.. I love this guy, and that beard is REAL. He looks this way year round and has for many years, just minus the red suit.

Have a very beary Christmas.... Bear under the tree and heart on the tree... Just Because I could

Star Wars? or December Sky in Florida

While walking my laps around the pool, early AM on Dec. 17th, 2017, I saw the weed on the fence had turned orange. From there I could see the pines, oak grapefruit and palm trees.

Snapping away, enjoying the cool 69 degrees with bright sun, I almost missed the contrails of two planes. we are only 40 miles from Tampa Airport and McDill AFB base, 3 miles from Sarasota Bradenton Airport and 30 from 2 airports in Saint Pete. This makes contrails a common sight.

I noticed  they crossed and at times looked like a sword blast from above. . Or maybe a Star Ship blasting someone in the yard next door.

notice the trees at top and bottom, I was standing by our pool looking straight up, we are surrounded by trees
