Egg Art?

Our dog, Big Boy, eats one boiled egg a day. I learned a trick to make them peel easier and it works about 90 percent of the time.

Drop the cold egg  in a glass and fill with HOT water. In 1 minute  the shell will pop off...or NOT. 😜

You may find egg-art egghausting. The thing is I find it hard to beat. Even though you may not be egg-static with my photos, I am hoping all of you can take a yolk!

Some of you may think I am egg-centric or maybe even an egg head. If so omelettin it slide this time!

BIG Weekend

My last post on Friday, was a Fake News Snake. I took the weekend off to work on my housework To Do List.  After lunch we were sitting in the sun and I said where is Big Boy? I got up to see if he was laying in his sunny spot and what to my wondering eyes did appear? A Big Black Racer, not our Big Boy... The good news is he stayed there long enough for me to go grab big put him inside and grab  the camera.

Putting Big inside was not to protect him, but to protect the snake. He was about 4 feet long. We have seen bigger but no photos. We like our Racers. This one was slow because it was cold and he was warming up. Once I started clicking he had warmed enough to race off to the fence where he lives. Don't worry, they don't bite, they race away from people.

Maybe I will become the MAD Snake Charmer...…  I got about half the LIST Done Yay

SSSsup? Nature Friday

Last week, Bob and I were walking with Big Boy, Bob holding the leash. Up ahead I saw a snake, we were headed straight toward it, about 20 feet in front of us. I said move over and stepped to the other side of the road. I hissed at Bob MOVE OVER, its a snake. He continued to walk straight at the snake.
About the time I was going to scream at him, he and Big Boy walked right over it. He was laughing, I was not. He said 'Its fake! we saw it yesterday when you weren't with us."

His practical jokes truly Hiss me Off!   SSSsup with men and their joy in practical jokes?
To me, Spiders and Snakes are a part of the EEK-osystem…
