Caffeine loading, please wait

We are on auto wakeup at 4 AM, this is how I feel when I wake up: Caffeine loading, please wait!

You know what separates humans from animals? Coffee

My blood type is coffee
*
Sleep is a symptom of caffeine deprivation.

This is Mama Bear's Cup (mine) note slight bent lip, no straight mug for me

Papa Bears Mug (hubby) note a little bigger around and straight lip
Do you have a preference?
*
Ambidextrose: Able to put sugar in coffee with either hand.
( I can use either hand BUT my brain puts the sugar in my (I use the pink thingy) cup not his if the cup is not on the right)
the mugs we have that no one uses
You may be a coffee addict if this quote is YOU.
The only thing that is keeping me from hurting you is the fact that they don't serve Starbucks in Prison.

there was an estate sale on our block many years ago and I bought 4 of these pretty little on tippy toe mugs  because I liked the shape. I use it for non-serious coffee ( flavored in the mid-day)
*
Caffeine isn't a drug, it's a vitamin!
*
All the coffee in columbia cant make me a morning person (this quote is NOT me, is it you?)
*
Latte is italian for "you paid too much" (amen to this one)
*
Do you use mugs or cups? do you drink tea or coffee? Pepsi? Mountatin Dew?

I found these jokes at squidco.comhttp://www.squidoo.com/coffee-quotes  if you want to buy a mug or read more funny quotes, they have cups with hilarious jokes. and most of them apply to ME

Morn' sweetie. I hope ya'll have had your bright and shinin' cup of Joe. The only way I'll drink coffee is if it's half hot chocolate....I call it cocoa with a kick. I'm so dang spastic I really should stay away from caffeine altogether.

I just wanted to thank ya for hoppin' on my blog...sure hope ya'll enjoy the ride.

God bless you and have yourself the best day!

I have never been a hot drink drinker for forever for some reason. Once in a while on a very cold morning I will fix up a cup of hot chocolate but that's about it. Now my mom loved her coffee and if she ever stopped for whatever reason, headaches would set in something bad on her. If she ever saw the connection there, she chose to ignore it and take the coffee. She just liked the taste. I could never figure that out. BUT...I will brake for any and all of those adorable coffee mugs out there in mugland. I always want to buy some and then think...what for. I'd never use it. Well...maybe a pencil holder from time to time. :)

LOVE coffee. I don't need it to wake me up I just LOVE the flavor.

I consider myself a night owl. But there are many nights when I can't stay up past 10:30 & I get up usually by 6:20 during the week, 5 am on Saturdays & 7:30 on Sundays maybe 8. I don't like to sleep past 8 anymore. I feel like I've slept the day away! Julie

The only coffee mug or cup that I don't like is one that is clear glass. Also, I don't like a cup that flares out at the top and gives the coffee more surface area to cool. I like my coffee HOT.

I don't drink coffee - ever. I don't like the taste of it. I'm a tea person. Maybe I should do a post on that some day...

"Drink coffee! Do stupid things faster with more energy!" See, I've been to your website and am just loving it!!!! I can't wait till Phil gets home to read your blog and look at this cool site, he has an incredabily close and strange relationship with coffee. I may even order something from this website. Are they reputable, have you ever? Needless to say, you have amused me to no end today!! I have a post on coffee planned, but not like this! I can only drink decaf because of heart palpitations, but we have this Keurig now that makes a cup in 30 seconds, so we can each have our own in a minute. I drink coffee at least four times a week, and like a really big mug of it to wash the food down with, like 14 oz. or 16 oz. So I buy the big chunky mugs they sell at Starbucks. Everyone just loves them. I think I would prefer your curved lip, though I'm very clumsy and that would make me prone to slosh it out! Phil must have exactly three cups a day, spaced out appropriatly. He uses it as a drug. He says it's not the coffee he likes the taste of, but the creamer and sugar!! I love Coke, but limit it to when we eat out or get a pizza. Your selection of mugs are charming, and they look plenty big, too. The pedestal mug, I would use it the same way you do!! But of course you knew that!

Oh YES---I love coffee. Both George and I wake up to the smell of our coffee perking about 7:20 (long after you get up). ha ha...

We drink French Vanilla --and George drinks it black, and I use splenda and a fat-free cremora. We have big mugs which we both love. Like you, we also have many other mugs--and even some 'cups' --which I never use.

The key to mugs is not the rounded top but the large handles... I want something that all of my fingers can reach around and hold onto comfortably.

We drink coffee during the mornings --but no more during the day. We'll drink some hot tea at nights most of the time.

Hugs,
Betsy

Great post -- I know exactly how you feel about that morning coffee. We use mugs for our coffee, but we have to make sure that the mugs are on the correct side because I take mine black.

Lots of people "have to have" their coffee in the morning. Jimmie used to drink coffee but somehow got out of the habit. I've always been a tea drinker - love Constant Comment. I usually prefer oj or water in the morning. Milk only in cereal! Guess my Dad got in the habit when he went to sea - BIG coffee drinker - naturally he was away from home a lot, and my mother and grandmother drank hot tea - suppose that's where I got it. So good on a cold morning or night! When P, M and/or C visit, the coffee pot comes out!

Coffee is GOOD! MUST have coffee in the morning!

The pot is programmed to have the coffee ready just before we get up. The mug doesn't matter but the one I use the most has a straight lip. My first cup of coffee has to be pure, no additives whatsoever. The last cup of the morning will have Splenda and whatever my current favorite International Creamer flavor happens to be (Skinny Vanilla Latte at the moment).

My husband is the coffee drinker in our house and is no fun to be around until he's had his first cup!
I prefer tea 'cause of my tender tummy- haha!

My preference is a clear glass LARGE cup filled with vanilla coffee - or a mocha! ;o)

Coffee? Yes, please! Black, no sugar and certainly not any of those awful flavourings (ruining the taste of perfectly good coffee, what THAT about?). My mug is a plain blue one - you can read its story here (Sandra, you already did, thank you).
