Oh Holy Night....

And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn

Thanks for this post, Sandra... I love the Alan Jackson/Alison Krauss song.. I hadn't heard it before--but may have to download this one for our Christmas collection.

I have enjoyed SO MUCH all of your pretty Christmas photos the past week or so.. I love pictures with your candles. The coloring is perfect. You ARE a great photographer.

Merry Christmas.
Hugs,
Betsy

I cannot express how I love this post! But of course I will try. Madsnapper indeed. You are Cleversnapper!! The candle holder reflections are out of this world!! And Jesus is right in the light. And your new header is beautiful. And don't even get me started about the Allison Krauss/Alan Jackson video. We love Allison Krauss and I've actually been looking on YouTube for a Christmas video of hers to post! I had not seen this one, though! The words are wonderful and so touching, it kind of puts a slant on things that I hadn't thought about before. And the song is beautiful. It wasn't just the angels who cried, because I sat here and cried as I watched it! Thanks for the info on gout. It is really helpful! I knew about the cherries, but I hate them. But I had not heard about pineapple!! I will run out and buy some fresh pineapples as soon as the stores re-open on Saturday. Has your husband been seen by a rheumatologist? A friend told me not to let my regular doctor treat me.

Love the blog. Jesus is the reason for the season. I have an Alan Jackson Christmas CD with And the Angels Cried and also have a Celine Dion Christmas CD with O Holy Night. (One of my all time favorite carols!) And she can sing it like no other.)
Merry Christmas. Talk to you in the a.m.
