What appeared to be a dead stick, now has new life. After the rain, our yard started to rejoice in new life. One stick, different views. When we look at others and can't understand them, we should change our view point, they may look entirely different.
Rejoice in the Lord always, the Lord is near. Do not be anxious for anything,
but in everything with thanksgiving, present your request to God
And the peace that transcends all understanding will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus. Philipians 4:6
Fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right, think about things you can thank God for, and Be Glad.
Coming soon to a blog near your, BEACH TRIP........

Some of my favorite verses there.
I love to drive along a road and see fenceposts that have sprung to life and have growth all over them.
My computer is a mess. I have a new one on order. I'll blog again one of these days.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the analogy of the stick and looking at a person differently!!! It's so true! Betsy is the one who told me about the waterfall,I thank her in my post. Your comment cracked me up, when you said hello Betsy! But unlike our two intrepid adventurers, this involved no climbing, bushwacking, or any strenous activity, other than wakling a few steps in some soft grass. I would go to the other waterfalls around here if they weren't so slippery and I wasn't so scared of heights. There's about 10 just in the city this one is.
Who would have thought! Great analogy.
First: I'd love to take a walk along that beach in your header!
I also really liked your comparison between the apparently dead stick coming to life and that sometimes we have to change our viewpoint to understand someone.
Spring really is an amazing time watching things come back to life.
Not only have you given us some wonderful pictures, you have also given us a wonderful lesson. Thank you so much!
New Life, Sandra.... Isn't it amazing when things which look totally DEAD do come back alive. Great pictures and verses to go along....
Hope you get over the Blog Funk soon. I can understand though... It is VERY time-consuming. Take some breaks --and see how that works.
Hugs,
Betsy
I'm interceding with God on your behalf today... hugs and prayers!
Yay for the leaves-and for the rain. We had some and it helped my garden sooo much!
A wonderful comparison Sandra and the verses are perfect.
I am amazed how plants can revive themselves like that. I have a little bush that I thought would have to be removed and I just noticed new growth on it.
BTW, you have been tagged. If you want to play along the instructions are at Through Squirrel Eyes
I like your perspective and the verses. Changing our view can be wise. My next post has a bit of life out of death theme going.
Very inspirational, thanks-
