Record Breaking Blooms

today is another two post day. I just have to post this. Our
Queen of the Night cactus woke up with a record breaking 40 plus blooms.  Look at the side bar for size comparison and imagine what 40 of these look like at one time

One of the blooms today and the drooping one is from yesterday.

I took this because they were growing all in a row. It's Amazing out there.

HI Sandra, I am so impressed with your cactus.... It is really showing off for you this summer. Do the blooms have a smell??? Once they bloom --I assume at night--do they continue blooming the entire next day, or do they close back up in the daytime???? How long does each bloom last? I'm just SO IMPRESSED.

Hugs,
Betsy

Lovely. Must be amazing just to be able to watch it right outside your own door.

Wow! That is incredible- I'd be out there trying to photograph them myself! How often do they bloom? Last night the moon was a pretty crescent too. Very exotic!
