ARE YOU PICKING UP WHAT I'M PUTTING DOWN?
I mean Really! how many people do you know that take photos of themselves in mirrors? this is one of MANY.
Snapper II lives in Georgia with his wife Madeline. Madeline was my best friend in High School. We lost touch for many years and then at my mothers funeral in 2006 we reconnected and are in daily contact through email. I would send photos for them to admire BB. (before blogging) her husband, Pat decided he would buy a camera like mine and he quickly became a MadSnapper himself
Since I had claimed offical title of Mad Snapper he named himself Snapper II.
Now we call each other Snapper I and Snapper II and He is every bit as much addicted as I am. check out his Blog of madly snapped photos at Snapper II

Well I guess now I know two people who take photos of themselves in mirrors. Myself and now you :)
I have been wondering about the origin of your blog's title as well as the connection with Snapper II. I am sure it is somewhere else on your blog, but I really enjoyed your "self-portrait" and history! Thanks!
Wow Snapper II is one ugly man. Are you sure he did'n break your blog?
I like the different reflections from the picture in the mirror...how wonderful to have a hobby that you have such a passion for and that you enjoy and are so good at...
I expect many people take pictures of themself in the mirror...me included! LOL
Keep on snapping!

Great post Sandra, you're not alone as I also have taken photos of myself in the mirror! Thanks for the info about snapper II. Have a great day.
Love the name Mad Snapper! You do such a great job -- I love checking in on your blog each day.
About the mirror pictures, that's probably not as uncommon as one might think... (guilty!) Good shot, that.
Photography can become addictive, can't it? Also, isn't it interesting that the second camera is often one (or more) step up from that first one that got us started?
I thought it had to be something like this! Well you just keep on a snapping because I love to see your photos!
Blessings!

You always manage to make me laugh. I have tried to explain you to Ginny, Sue, and SRP...sharing the story of how we got the name "ugly and unwanted."
I love the description of the "madsnapper."...it fits you to a T.
That picture of you is adorable!! Until you said, I thought that someone else had taken it! But it's in a mirror, and I love the reflection, too. I'm waiting for your nook Christmas pictures later on, will you decorate it different or just like last year? I'm glad you explained to everyone what Madsnapper is, there may have been some who thought it's a deranged turtle! I think we look alike!
You are such a cutie pie - and so fun!! Love this... and thanks for explaining - I've always wondered if the two of you were related!
What a cute post, Mrs. Mad Snapper I....... You are a madsnapper for sure.... Love that picture of you---you, Cutie Pie YOU...
Hugs,
Betsy
Great history of where your name originated.
Fun picture there..ya..well I think a lot of us have the same problem Sandra..add disorganized for me too (smile)
Oh gosh!! I thought he was your husband!! No wonder I got so confused as to the names. :) I think all of us go mad when we get our first digital as we do not have to pay for the not-so-nice ones. That delete button sure comes in handy!!
Fun post Sandra, love the story of your blog name. I ran across MadSnapper's (no one or two) blog a few months ago, the snappers are everywhere!
Well I am honored to be mentioned in your blog! Snapper II surely loves taking photos and blogging, all encouraged by you, and I thank you for that. You are definitely his hero!! He worked hard all his life and now is able to do what he likes to do, when he wants to do it. Keep snapping Madsnapper!
Love you, Madeline
Mrs. Snapper II
