Ca D' Zan Candelabras

Wow what a palace, a family could live there and never see each other. I wonder how many people actualy lived there. You could spend a lot of time in that place with a camera and never cover it all.

I'm so glad you were allowed to take photos! I feel as if I were there without the tired feet to show (or feel) for it. However, I'm sure the splendor was even more special than one can capture on film--wait, no film!!

My favorite picture is next to last, because I love the reflection on the wall. Ca D' Zan is looking more and more Gothic to me. The chandelier with the regular looking lightbulbs screwed in is kind of oddball looking. What is that line of brick spire thingys in your header? Are they just for decoration? They are pretty and unusual.

These are beautiful candelabras, but I find it interesting that they have all been converted to electricity. I suppose that was much safer.

I love all the lighting, that candle sconce is too cool. My favorite is the globe like lamp, well it looks like a lamp.

It seems to me that this house inspired you very much. Your fantastic photos show how much you really enjoyed the time you spent there. The collection of various candelabras is so beautiful and you took really beautiful photos of them.
