Ca D' Zan Chandeliers

This brilliant Green chandelier hangs over the Breakfast Table
Why did the woman fix her bed to the chandelier?
Because she was a light sleeper.

A pretentious woman was showing a friend round her new home. "It's very lovely," her friend admitted, "but what you need in this big room is a chandelier." "I know, my dear," said her gracious hostess, "but nobody in the family plays one.

This one hangs in the great hall, two stories high. in this photo, you can get a feeling for the ornate ceiling and the sky light.

The green chandelier is a first for me. Where DO you get all your jokes? No, don't tell. I'll just keep getting my fix here when I visit!

LOL@ Snapper II.... I was going to make a similar joke but I see you beat me to it.

Sandra, these are gorgeous! I like the clear chandelier better than the green in terms of actual decorations - but the green photographed SO well. You did a great job, they are beautiful. What an amazing place to visit!

Great photos! I've never seen a green chandelier before. Just now, having had a kind of householdy day, all I can think is "how do they CLEAN that thing"... (LOL)

While both chandeliers are beautiful, I really like the one in the Great Hall.

THANK YOU! I really needed a smile today! AND I always know where I can get one! Love the beautiful lights....we don't even have one that fancy at our house. I think I need to move in there!

Beautiful chandeliers, Sandra... But--I kept wondering how they keep the cobwebs and dust off of them... Guess they have hired someone JUST for that purpose!!!!!!

Hugs,
Betsy

My very favorite of them all is the green!!!! How come you don't see more colored chandeliers, only clear glass? I love that one! Those big round bulbs are kind of goofy looking, though. But I guess along with the black it gives a kind of wild and offbeat effect.

I love that emerald green one... thought I would attach some sort of decorative light bulbs and maybe glass shades to make it look a bit more finished. That hall in the second picture is gorgeous!

Lol) I wouldn't want to sleep under one of those!! I suppose I'd be a light sleeper too? I honestly like the green- especially where you took the shot up close just underneath! I'd like to hear my echo in there (grin)

I really like that green chandelier, the breakfast room is the perfect place for it. I wonder if it is hanging in a place that would catch the morning light, can you imagine how the colors would reflect off the walls.
