Happy Birthday Daniel
Today is my younger sons birthday, he is 44.

this photo of Daniel and his granddaughter, Nya, was taken Nov. 18, 2007. Sadly that is the last time I saw them. Nya is now 5 and has a little sister Nyema that is 3. I saw Nya this one time. We are estranged and it makes me sad. Nya and Nyema just had their birthdays in the past 2 weeks.

It's too bad that you and your son are estranged, but hopefully that will end. I went through something similar with my son.

As you know, my middle son and I are 'sorta' that way --although he called me at Christmas and apologized... Still haven't seen him in quite a long time though... I love all three of my sons and know that they stay busy... Just wish I would hear from them more often. Sigh!!!!

Sorry to hear about your situation. I've been through times with both of my children where they wouldn't speak to me. I know how it hurts. Hopefully your situation will change some day.

Handsome son, beautiful grandchild! I still say Daniel looks like a young Nick Nolte. (Strictly in looks, not in actions for sure.) Hope in time the estrangement will end. Life is too short...
