I have questions for YOU

Giant Leather Fern is found only in Florida in the USA.  It grows in Central and South America and the Carribean. Acrostichum danaeifolium (leather fern)

Why is "abbreviation" such a long word?
*
What is another word for "thesaurus"?

What happens if you get scared half to death twice?

If a turtle doesn't have a shell, is he homeless or naked?

*
Why don't sheep shrink when it rains?

This was cute as well as fantastic..I just love this..the nice curly leaves and warm tones!! I bet it would look neat in sepia as well! The other two are pretty and wispy..but have that same feel-
Well, hope you have w relaxing weekend my dear!

Do the leaves of the leather plant look like that when they are in bloom, or are they dying? You can ask questions, but you must give the answers too, as you usually do. You are taxing my brain! I am too old and worn out for that. :-)

I don't think I've heard of leather fern before, but it is certainly interesting. Your questions are also very interesting, but they are giving me a headache!

It looks just like leather, but I want to know more. Is this in your yard? What does it look like in the summer? Can you make anything out of it?

what an interesting looking fern. I like it. Although I have to say most plants that I have take on that same dried up look due to lack of water and attention :)I don't have answers for any of your questions

Oh no! My head hurts....too many questions....however, Beth said the answer to the last one is because it doesn't rain hot enough water....whatever that means....

I hope you'll be posting the answers soon!!!!

LOVE the dead looking stuff!
I think a turtle without a shell might be called dead.

The turtle without a home would be dead.

And scared twice half to death would be dead too.

And the dead looking stuff looks dead too.

lol

Weird plant. Thank goodness Chatty Crone answered the questions before I arrived! No brain today!

The leather fern is really interesting, does it get it's name from having the look of leather strips as it dries out?

Your brain teasers left my brain with an ache, those are good ones. But I am a little worried about the poor turtle with no shell.

What a gorgeous beautyberry bush... purple berries. I planted one last spring and I hope it comes back even stronger this year. The birds ate the berries almost faster than they could grow and by the time the leaves were gone, most of the berries were too!
