Clever Oh so Clever

I decide to give you The View from below. This is the Avocado from a seed in yesterday post.

Think "jack in the beanstalk" but where is Jack?

Are you saying "oh how clever MadSnapper is, to think of standing and shooting UP. Wow! what talent.

this is ever so much better than the "long shot" from yesterday to show you the size.
The problem is, I did not just THINK up this trick... I learned it from fellow blogger Squirrel Queen, she does lots of clever shooting, so I thought why NOT? The Road to here is her other blog.

Do you learn things from fellow bloggers? I learn something new almost every day. Am I a copycat? What think ye? do you find ideas for photos by looking at others?

Thanks Judy for the IDEA Coming Soon! The UGLIEST flower in our garden.....

That is one of my favorite ways to view trees but I can't take full credit for the idea, I got it from my little squirrel friends. :)

What a gorgeous avocado tree, I can't wait until we get the foliage back on our branches.

I got dizzy from looking up. I thought I might see a tree trimer up there somewhere, LOL

And yes, I learn something every day from my blogger buddies. You got me started, and the rest of my follow list are fantastic people. Thank you Madsnapper for creating my CLILK. he he he he

A couple of May's ago, I was in California with a friend who wanted to visit with her aged aunt for history information. While those two visited, I took my book and went out in the back yard to read. And I found the perfect place underneath the largest avacado tree I'd ever seen. I wanted to dig it up and bring it back to Phoenix. But it would have died here. To have that many avacados at hand, you'd really need to like them lots. I do but I'm not sure I do that much. Great photos!!

If getting ideas from other bloggers makes me a copycat, well than that is what I am.Is this not one of the ways we learn.I like those straight up pictures, have done a few myself.

I have fallen behind on looking at your blogs. Went all the way back to the lights in the library. Love all the pics of fruits, veggies and trees. Love the sunrise pic in your back yard. Enjoyed them all. I am very jealous of your tomatoes. You have to go to the bank and get a loan to buy decent tomatoes here now. We are eating them only if our meal demands it. There are signs posted at Kroger's apologizing for the poor quality and high price of produce. That is a first for me in 66 years.

I'm still impressed with the avocado tree, perhaps even more so after seeing it from this perspective.
Yes, I learn a great deal from other bloggers, including the Mad Snapper.

It is so much fun to try different shots! They look great! AND you know that to copy someone is the best form of flattery! As far as an ugly flower....no such thing....just interesting ones....

I'm looking to see if I can find Jack way up there in the top! Very cool!! Yes, I get a huge amount of my inspiration from Judy, she's amazing!! I learn something from other blogs all the time!! But as to whether I can DO these things is another matter. At least I try!

I tried this last year with my Bradford Pear but it didn't turn out nearly as well as your beautiful shots!!!

Yes, each and every day I learn from my fellow bloggers. I am thankful for that.

God bless ya and have a marvelous day! :o)

I'm VERY impressed. Right now I can't remember if I commented on yesterday's post as well but I did look at it. I know I once planted an avocado seed indoors in a pot and it grew quite tall for a potted plant but I had no idea the trees get as big as this. And yes I'm sure I pick up lots of ideas from other bloggers both consciously and subconsciously.

I don't think of it as being a copy cat. I think of it as taking inspiration from the talented people that I visit. I'm always seeing things that other people do and thinking I just have to try that.

I read someones blog that said that someone had copied them and complained - I think if you copy and learn - it is a compliment.

Love, sandie
