Since I nearly lost my photo's a few weeks ago, I have been "Archive Diving" and I found these photos I called Lightstreams. All of them were taken through the windshield, NO, I was not driving.
40 MPH on Gulf Drive Daytona Beach, all except the last one, we were leaving town early AM and I was playing with a new camera, May 24, 2004
The photo below was at 70 MPH on I-4 just before Disney, headed West and towards home. The Diner shot I had prined in 18 x 20 and framed and hung it on my wall at work. it sold, as did copies of all of these. For several years these were framed and hanging in my living room. I tend to change up my wall photos? Do you frame and hang your photos? do you change them out?
A highway patrolman pulled alongside a speeding car on the freeway. Glancing at the car, he was astounded to see that the lady behind the wheel was knitting!
Realizing that she was oblivious to his flashing lights and siren, the trooper cranked down his window, turned on his bullhorn and yells, "PULLOVER!"
"NO," she yelled back over the sound of the siren, "It's a SCARF!"

Love that joke, poor trooper!
Lightstreams describes your photos perfectly, I love all the colors and the abstract look.
I have a few photos I have printed but they are from my SLR camera if that gives you an idea of their age. My favorite is a seagull against the blue sky, I took it one morning on a beach in Tampa.
These are great shots Sandra! The Diner shot is amazing how you have kept the focus on the letters, brilliant
Great light display.
You caught me by surprise with the joke. You are just to funny.
What creativity these show! Thank goodness you were not the driving.:) Do I have my work on the walls,no,except for one large cross stitch project.Right now I have several of Jake's pictures on display.
Blessings,Ruth
LOVE these!
I have sold several of my pictures but don't have any hanging on my walls.
Your joke made me LOL!

Motion light photos can be lots of Phun. I hope you don't have to suffer too much from your cold snap, waking up to a chilly 55°.
Too creative for me, Sandra.... Those are the kinds of pictures I delete or throw away... And I've taken GOBS of them through the years...ha
Some of our good photos are framed and hanging on our walls.. We have a 'winter' area --for snow pictures, and a 'fall' area for pretty Fall colors... We tend to keep the same ones on the wall FOREVER. ha ha
Keep up the good work... SO--you sold them???? Wow--that is super.. You could start a business.
Hugs,
Betsy
I like your 'lightstream' series. If I could get Betsy to drive after dark I'd do some experimentation like this myself.
Sister!! WHEN did you fly over to my house and copy my camera card?? These are just like mine!!!! Except for that exceptional diner, that is modernistic art at it's BEST! I, too, have a folder, but just called it "lights". That's confusing, and now I'm going to name it "lightstreams" like yours. But a few months ago I was looking at them and even though I liked them, I thought they were senseless and no one else would. So I deleted over half. But looking at ones that someone else took, I see they are full of beauty and really appreciate them, so I know others will, too. Hey, we should do these once a month. Oh, maybe have Saturday Light specials!!
Do I print out my pictures and frame them? Then change them - Are you kidding? No way Sandra. I'm lucky to even like my pictures. lol I love your though.

These shots are fantastic! I am glad I stopped by today to see them.
GREAT shots and thank you for the smile! I needed that!
silly police man, he should know that it's too difficult to knit a pullover while driving, of course it would only be a scarf.
Love the shots. It's amazing what light and movement can create. And wow, you've sold some of your photos, I'm impressed.
I think about printing out a lot of my pictures but usually don't. I do however have some that I printed to enter in our fair and after the fair was over I hung them in my craft room.
OK I have to steal that last funny for my Sunday School class. It is the old folks class... I am the youngest in there by at least 20 years. They love the funnies!
I loved the header when you first put it up and am glad you have provided more great "lightstream" photos and information about how you captured such intriguing images. Way to go Sandra. Good joke, too!
It's amazing what you can capture through the windshield! Your lightstream photos are always fun to look at.
Ahh ha ha..that was sooo hilarious!! Love it..took a second! Oh my..well, I too have some of these and mostly on those trips that drag on and you think of stuff (your too much)- but I enjoyed these!!
These are so cool! I did take some night shots of downtown that same night. I will post later this week. :)
I love that joke, Sandra. It wouldn't work in SA with the language and culture differences between people. I love your windshield shots too!
