I love old churches too. And, I love small churches. I'm also into steeples. Anytime I see one, I try to get a photograph. Oh, and I like white churches too.
Great photos.
Best,
Bonnie
I like the old historic one the best. Neat.
They are beautiful Sandra! Love the little old church in the last photo.
Now there's a project for you... You could post a different "church of the day" every day for the next two years... ;)
I like that Methodist church!
Hi Sandra, so glad you stopped by. I am always glad to meet someone on the cyberhighway who knows Ky. I know Pikeville. Been there one time. Your churches are all so different and inspiring. The churches in my town are all alike that is why I did not just picture them all. Love all the palms trees that is what makes them so interesting.LOL

your stats are great. and I love the old churches best. More than likely they were built by the parishioners. not contractors. the love is still there.
If I went through Friburgo I would find the same denominations but not the grand churches. often the Baptist and Methodist churches are in store fronts, and not on the best streets (if there are best streets) they are often pretty raggedy and not clean. Is money the only issue?
All the churches are beautiful but I too love the old ones best and the small ones. Keep snapping, Madsnapper!
I like the older churches too! Beautiful pics, my friend! Thank you for sharing. Do I want to see all of them....why not!
I love your Church, old ones are beautiful also!
Such variety in church buildings, but we all worship the same God.
The Oldest, the Smallest and Greatest, God surely abides in them all. "Where ever there are two or three gathered in My Name there Am I in there midst".
It's too bad the bus got in the way of your first picture of the Baptist church, but I enjoyed all the pictures you shared in this post. I, too, like that old church. Obviously we're going to have more churches to look forward to.
I like old churches too huge and small they are an inspiration. And by the way I haven't googled about churches in my area I will do it too ^_^

What an intriguing variety of churches ... I'd love to see more!
Yes, I DOO!!! And I am serious!!! I LOVE the last three, they are my fave, and I want to go in them...no, wait...I want YOU to go in them for me and snap away!!! YES!! A post a week inside these!! I pester Betsy and George endlessly because they rarely take pictures inside the buildings. Your pictures are beyond STUPENDOUS!! You always shine on these memes, they suit you, you need to join MORE!!! And I'm also loving that big blue mirrored skyscraper, I would hang out there all the time for reflections. Am I just Bossy Pants today or what? That's what Ella called me one day when I made her stop putting beads in her mouth. She called me Bossy Pants then then hid under a chair. I laughed the rest of the day. I have been meaning to ask you how is the church going?? Are you teaching or volunteering there yet, doing anything?
Good grief you got a lot of comments, and it looks like some new followers, too. Join more memes!!
thanks for that lovely pictorial tour!
your part of world is so beautiful and those are such great shots.
happy weekend!
betty
Hello my friend! LOVE those churches with steeples. Happy weekend!
I love looking at old churches too, the architecture are just too beautiful!
I like old buildings and the shadows are pretty too with the cascading trees. My..a lot of churches! I love architecture and am astounded by the places I see on the blogsphere. I don't see too much out of the ordinary here. I doubt if I'll ever get off this rock before I die (not being negative)..unless we have one of those erruptions and we have to escape (ha ha)!! We are so glued here! Enjoyed your captures my dear-
I love your last two churches! The little old churches just seem more genuine to me.
Sandra - I love old churches too and old cemetaries that go with them sometime. I think to myself - all the history that goes along with that - and all the stories of peoples lives you'll never know.
You have pretty churches there.
My favorite ones are the last three! I'd love to see them in person.
Churches are so photogenic especially the old ones. Wow your stats are mind blowing. Are they all full every Sunday?
I think that would be an excellent series. I've been meaning to get out and take pictures of all the churches in my area. I just love the way some of them look, especially the older one. I really like that last picture, that one is my favorite.
Well---I love seeing old churches, both inside and out... SO--if you want to post more, I will enjoy them!!!!
Great post today... I too tend to love the smaller and older churches when it comes to photos...
BUT--the bigger ones offer more for families when it comes to meeting needs.
Hugs,
Betsy
