What Easter Means to me...

The Last Supper, Jesus agonizes in the Garden, Judal Betrays Jesus and Peter Denies Knowing Him

Jesus is tried, Mocked and dies hanging on the cross

this cross is in a sharp turn in the road and was put their by the homeowner as a warning. This cross made from reflectors and wood, is also reminder to us of the reason for Easter.
He Died for us, He Arose from the Dead and He will Return for us.

1 Early on Sunday morning, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance. 2 She ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved. She said, “They have taken the Lord’s body out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!”
3 Peter and the other disciple started out for the tomb. 4 They were both running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. 5 He stooped and looked in and saw the linen wrappings lying there, but he didn’t go in. 6 Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside. He also noticed the linen wrappings lying there, 7 while the cloth that had covered Jesus’ head was folded up and lying apart from the other wrappings. 8 Then the disciple who had reached the tomb first also went in, and he saw and believed—9 for until then they still hadn’t understood the Scriptures that said Jesus must rise from the dead.

Happy Easter, Sandra!!! I remember seeing that cross before, but I had forgotten it till now. I think you had people guess?? See, your posts are unforgettable! But I don't remember the fence, is that a dent in it where someone has already crashed into it? Your sunrise picture is just beautiful!!!! Or is it sunset?

Gandparents H. is ME!!! I accidentally signed in with an old name that I used before I started my blog, just unthinkingly put in my old name. I've been getting up early and going to bed late, but having fun, we took Anne to her first carnival last night!!!

I just fixed my comments and made them come up higher, thanks so much for this, I will remember how to do it now! When I type stuff in that is in verse, it gets way spaced out, so I have to hit delete after each line to squinch it back together. But then it always leaves that big space at the bottom. And I didn't know you could fix it the same way as the rest!

Great post for Easter Sunday. That is a very interesting cross and it serves two purposes.

That corner looks like a dangerous place to be fishing, I can see why they put up that sign.
