Gorgeous photos but of course you know which one is my favorite. I really like the lighting on your last photo, the golden glow is beautiful.

Your pictures are great - as usual. Can;t say I like squirrels, but I love the joke - will tell my grandson.

Please.... let us not speak of squirrels!!!! If I cursed, I would curse them. If I had a pellet gun, well...
I have tried with the sling shot, but I am really not good at hitting anything with that. I planted joe pye weed for the butterflies yesterday, and yes, little digging holes next to it this morning. Blasted squirrels.

Hardee-har-har! While your other photos are pretty, I agree with squirrel queen about the last photo - divine.

ps I wrote about the havoc wrought by squirrels gone wild on my Saturday blog entry.

NEVER give a squirrel a beer.

What ARE those berries, that's a beautiful shot! Somehow, the wetness makes them look marbled. I LOVE Mr. Squirrel with the purple flower at his feet, it's like you put him there to pose for you. Our squirrels are very unobliging and won't do anything we tell them. The light on those dried thingies is beautiful, I'm guessing they are dead and dried flowers?

Sandra, thank you so much for your comment I am sad to hear about your boys and I hope their fortunes change in the future. Never give up hope my own prospects looked glum but out of the blue I received a lifeline. I do consider myself very fortunate. best wishes Kev

Do I have to climb up the tree to act like a nut? Can't I act like a nut at the bottom and hope the squirrel will come down to me??? hee hee

I love the photo with the squirrel and the flowers. It reminds me of the old retro Easter cards. Oops. I'm showing my age, aren't I?

I once tried climbing up a tree and acting like a nut and I still couldn't catch one of those furry little boogers! They're fast! :-)
