Million Bells True color

the true color of the Million Bells with the naked eye is Bright Purple, as in color wheel purple. I did a little tweaking in PhotoShop to get an example, to show they are not blue. the camera sees blue.

No wonder I thought they were morning glories! They say that blue and purple get mixed up on T.V., too.

Thanks for sharing the true color of Million Bells, but I must admit that the color in your original post is very pretty as well.

I noticed that when I showed the pictures of our Periwinkle when it was blooming that the flowers turned out looking purple ---yet they are blue. Now you are experiencing the opposite... Interesting what our cameras see --or don't see... I love both blue and purple though...

Pretty Million Bells.

Betsy

OK..whenever I look this up, I pull a slightly different-though very similar (more like a bush) up. I've been looking for the last hour and spotted one in my Tropica book. Some photos aren't as clear, as this book is old, but look up (King's Mantle)..I found a better image on line and compared it with the book, but believe that's it. Let me know what you think? Love these!!

Thanks for the help with blogger...it seems to be helping! There are still a couple of blogs it doesn't work on.

Thanks so much
Have a great day.

Since I prefer purple over blue I really like the touch up. I thought Million Bells came in different colors so I didn't think much about it.

Do you ever think sometimes if every one sees blue the same and then purple the same as everyone else? I mean the camera sees things so differently too.
