Tadpole Groaner

Rain + Barrel = MadSnapper Snapping....
I  NOW know how difficult it is  to shoot Tadpoles in A rain barrel (camera not a gun).  We have a gazillion baby frogs on the way..... Goody, they EAT mosquitoes

What kind of shoes do frogs wear?
Open toad!

Why are frogs so happy?
They eat whatever bugs them!

How does a frog feel when he has a broken leg?
Unhoppy.

Why did the frog read Sherlock Holmes?
He liked a good croak and dagger.  (my favorite)

What happened to the frog's car when his parking meter expired?
It got toad!!

AND DON'T YOU WISH I HAD BEEN ''TOAD'' BEFORE I DID THIS POST? Smile with me!

I'm laughing. Thanks Sandra. I really like the picture with the tree reflection. A 'snapper' will shoot at anything,I know I have a 'few',or is that many, pictures to price that.

Also mosquito larve in with the tad polls. Hatching time must be a sight to see. What confusion.

Hi There, I'm back after a few weeks off from blogging. Hope you are doing okay. I have missed all of my blogging friends --but needed that break!

Funny one this morning.... Love the FROG jokes!!!!!

Enjoyed seeing the tadpoles --but liked the reflection --and your arms/hand taking the picture in that water.

Hugs,
Betsy

Thanks for the smile, my friend! BTW -- did you know today is Johnny Appleseed Day? I thought of your husband right away!

Will they be taking over your swimmingpool when the barrel gets too crowded? ;)

Thanks for the smiles. The tadpoles brings back memories of watching them at the edge of the pond when I was a kid. We would also catch a few and put in a jar. It's fun watching tads turning into frogs! Have a great day!

You did a pretty good job of shooting those tadpoles with your camera. You may not have many mosquitoes, but it looks like you might have to worry about being overrun with frogs!

I didn't know frogs had so much corn. Looks like you'll have plenty of skeeter eaters though.

I love those reflections!

Cool shots of the tadpoles, those mosquitoes had better pack their bags and flee.

Your lucky you have the BENIFICIAL kind! ha ha..our tree frogs don't even eat mosquitos..but many have discovered chickens will eat the frogs! We probably still have regular frogs but I hardly ever see them anymore. I think I mentioned our old gray cat was disappointed with his dry food one night (his hard hunting days are nearly over- almost)..so I heard him coming up the back steps with his meow he caught something (in his mouth) I opened the door and he laid a frog down!! What a hoot-

Brings back memories...we always had to have one or two in a jar or something to watch them grow legs when I was a kid...then my girls kept one of those hard plastic kiddie pool when they were kids and kept all kinds of stuff during the summer.
