Kind of like a REAL baby! Give them a gift, and they often play in the big box more than with the toy!

That is one BIG stick! Awesome!

Jake is a happy camper with that stick! Wish it were that simple with a teenager. LOL

That's about like the kids playing with the boxes their Christmas toys came in! Muffy's favorite toy is an old cotton sock tied in a knot; she plays with it for hours on end. And don't forget the empty cardboard paper towel rolls!

our title cracked me up....for a long time I threatened to wrap up a box of sticks and rocks for our granddaughter, Lorelei. she still likes both...specially rocks.

What a pretty header Sandra..I see your sweet Jake! My Rottie used to love to chase sticks in the water and chew on them!
Thanks for your visits. This is the first time ever on blogger I got so far behind!
Wishing you a sunny afternoon-

I wish Duke would take a lesson from Jake. He prefers the expensive store bought toys that he can destroy in two seconds flat. He may be little but he's rough on toys.

Great photo of your Jake. My dog loves to play with sticks too.

Now if only people were that easy to please.

Don't you love how easy it is to please that pup of yours! I don't have to buy toys for my girls either. They prefer to chase squirrels and such over toys.

Jake is definitely an 'easy-to-please' pup.. It's like children who would rather play with our pots and pans --instead of all of the fancy toys we bought for them...

Cute picture.

Betsy

Jake does enjoy a good stick. I'll bet that one is gone by now.

I used to buy all sorts of cat toys but now I just give them a cardboard box and maybe one toy inside. It will keep them amused for a long time.

Sounds about right. And all a kitty really wants is a nice piece of string. ;)

Often the same with the really small children... they'll have more fun with the wrapping paper than the present!
