Friday the 13th Fences -Drive By

Sitting at the four way stop sign on our street, 1 block from home, below added texture because I could and just learned how to create my own.  ( note: we can't sing don't fence me in for this one)
LINKING TO FRIDAY FENCES
Above is in the Goodwill Parking lot, I assume it is for lunch time or the smoking lounge, since no one would want to picnic there. Although behind me is Wendy's....
Another 4 way stop on our street........ Yes, I was the only one there so no one was Waiting For The MadSnapper to stop Snapping!
2 blocks from home, this orange vine is every where this time of year, it grows into the tops of the trees and on fences. (don't you just LOVE the leaning fence and the Big Red Trash Can?)

I can never seem to arrive at a four way stop with no one behind me, you must have some quiet streets. I love all those fences especially the one with at pretty orange vine. But I would have been tempted to run over and pick up the red trash can and move it behind the fence.

Little busier where I am. There is always someone behind you or in front of you.

Very clever. I like the one with the rear view mirror in it and can see both directions.

well, if you ever get out of your car and start rearranging folks' trash bins, etc. for a photo shoot, i'm not gonna bail you out! :)

Beeeeeeutiful new Header Pic!!!

It's been so long since I've tried to do a thing like.... "Friday Fences," with pic taking. :-)

Course you have some pretty fences with pretty growing things on them, even in winter. :-)

And I got a kick out of you saying that no one was behind you, when taking these pics! I doubt they would have been *kind* about waiting, while you 'snapped." Ahhhh, the stufffffy ol' f*rts!!! LOL.

"There's such a lot of different Annes in me. I sometimes think that is why I'm such a troublesome person. If I was just the one Anne it would be ever so much more comfortable, but then it wouldn't be half so interesting."

I admire the well-maintained lawn in the first one.
The leaning fence is being taken over with vine. It seems pretty invasive but lovely at the same time.
I'm thinking it might not look real inviting but at least the Goodwill folks at least have a place to get out at lunchtime for some fresh air.
Enjoyed your post! Beautiful header!

I like your Friday Fences and the texture you added to the first photo. Please tell me how you manage to get pictures in the car without someone coming up behind you.

Hi Sandra, Great photos of the Friday Fences. But--I'm shocked at how BROWN the grass is there.. Is that just because it is winter??? I don't remember seeing so much brown grass when I lived down there--but maybe I did...

Snow here today --to cover up our grass!!!! We have about 2 inches and schools are closed... 18 degrees out there... Think I'll just stay home and enjoy the fireplace..
Hugs,
Betsy

Ha! I'm glad I'm not the only one who drives with a camera in the other hand! About the time I get ready to shoot, someone always drives up, tho. I always say there can be just 2 cars on a 10 mile stretch of highway and you can bet one of the two will be 3 feet behind me!

You always find something interesting to photograph Sandra.
The fallen trash can does add interest to the last picture.
Sure enjoy coming here to see what creative adventures you are on.

Lovely photos, the orange wine is beautiful. Yes it looks a bit dry there, but it seems very nice. I like your fence photos, here in Ireland you would never stop at a crossing and NOT having anyone behind you. They're like mice to a piece of cheese, everybody want's through lol. Was nearly run down at a crossing today [I was walking] and had the green man [means go right?] But a car ran through the red lights, and nearly got me. But let them have it [yesssss] Anyway, have a lovely weekend my friend!

Hum, I like the vine, wonder what that is?

You can make your own textures. You are smart.

I didn't realize it was Friday the 13th until I read your title! lol I had to look and seen that it is! Great pictures! I'm just curious over the one with the guard rail. That makes no sense to me that there is guard rail right there at all! lol If you only knew how hard it is to get the State Road to put guard rail up around here you'd understand it. It took me 3 years to get them to put guard rail up a hill that several cars kept going over this hill and almost roll into a creek! One car was upside down. I thought they were still in there and screaming down to them all in a panic because I couldn't get down that hill to get them out! 3 years to get it! Nightmares for 3 years! I think my rant is over now! Whew! lol I feel better!

Yes, I DO love the leaning fence and red trash can, really! And the texture, so cool. It makes it look like a painting! You also have fall colors in the winter!

Laughing at TexWisGirl's comment! ha ha!
I love the leaning fence with the vine, it's so pretty! Red is my favorite color, so nice trash can. :)
All your pics are great! What nice quiet streets. :)

I had never thought much about fences, but yes! we do have such a variety. I love that orange vine. Your photos are so sharp and clear. Wonderful!!!

I thought I heard something about a drive by shooting in your area :)
I love adding textures to pictures and used to make my own all the time. I got lazy though and now use free ones that I get from shadowhouse creations

I love that last one...maybe the one in the goodwill parking lot is for spouses that wait for the other one to get done...I would sit and read!

The orange vine looks interesting. It is certainly a prolific growing plant. Are those flowers or colored leaves?

4 way stops, I don't like round-a-bouts. Sometimes, cars don;t stop to give way.

I like the reflection.

You sure are a madsnapper, taking pictures at 4 way stop roads, I like the last fence best.
