I am joining Thursday All in a Row for the first time today. to join the fun go to A view from the edge
Baby Girl Update: all four of us slept all night last night, 7 hours straight. thanks for all your thoughts, prayers and comments. We take the bandage off today.
MadSnapper Trivia continued from yesterday
Fast forward to 1985, Bob and
I had been married a few months, he insisted on using the bathroom on the other
side of the house, not the half bath in our master bedroom.
He had to walk
through the kitchen and living room and down a short hall. One night around 2
AM he went to the bathroom and did not come back. I am a light sleeper, so I
waited and waited. He did not come back to bed.
Mirror Edit in Ippiccy |
The house was dark (remember who is afraid of the dark), so I eased through the kitchen and into the dark living room calling his name.
His idiot male self from Mars, was laying on the floor behind the sofa and reached out and grabbed my leg, IN THE DARK.
HE never ever never did that again. I sat on the floor and cried like a baby for half an hour.
He said, “ Samar, it was a JOKE. “ (the last he ever played on me) NO, we did not get divorced, 27 years now.

That sounds so much like a man's idea of a joke!!! He must have been watching The Stooges! The Moss Roses are beautiful, I love the color. And that mirror edit one, the sun was shining on it just right, it is amazingly beautiful!!!
Oh my gosh, he's lucky you didn't hit him with something. Men do have weird senses of humor. The moss rose is beautiful.
Your moss roses are gorgeous. One of the simplest flowers to keep alive and I always manage to kill them.
Shame on Bob! That was NOT nice! I bet he NEVER did that again.... Great shots, my friend.... Happy to hear you got some sleep....take care....
Beautiful moss roses....
No comment on dark time. LOL
So happy to hear you all slept well. Give Baby Girl a hug from me.
I can't believe your husband did that......ONCE!
The moss roses are so pretty; love that mirror image.
I used to teach nursery school and the first thing that came to mind when I saw the 1st photo was, "Four little flowers all in a row, Suzy picked one, now there are 3 little flowers all in a row.....
I don't know how I did that all day every day! :)
Oh those Alpha Males are truly from another planet for sure!!!
'Jokes that hurt and soooo not funny! Of course, they all loved the Three Stooges, ya know!!!
Your pictures are simply stunnin' sweetie. I love the way you edited that last one, I'll have to go over to that site and play when I get a chance.
Have a perfectly blessed day sweetie!!! :o)
The flowers are beautiful and they are all in a row.
And I bet your hubby never did do anything like that ever again. I can't believe he did it the first time, oh, guess I can, he is a male isn't he? lol sandie
Lol...sorry
scary, indeed....!!!
The photos are fantastic: lobe the flowers...the orange and the yellow...and the green...LOVELY
See: I tried to see the result of the translator and I did not like what I found . I think it will be better If I post a translation of my own...because some things make no sense in the poem...

Males like those kinds of jokes. I have done my share of shreiking, but that only encourages the males in my family! Liked your moaa roses marching in a vibrant row!
there would have been no need for a divorce. i'd have killed him and be spending my life in jail for it. :)
love the blooms in a row. and so glad you ALL slept last night!
Hey, welcome aboard Thursday's Things in a Row! I love the moss roses, what a beautiful color, too! That mirror image is just awesome!
If my husband did that to me, he'd of been a widower real quick because I think I would have died right on the spot.
Men. Can't live with them, can't shoot 'em. KIDDING. (not)
The whole neighborhood would have heard me screaming. That's terrible but funny too. My husband likes to walk up behind me and suddenly start talking when I'm vaccuming. scares the crap out me and of course I scream.
Bob is lucky he made it to the next day of your marriage. And you hate the dark!!!!!!!! Oh boy!!!! Photos are stunning. I love the mirrow image. It is beautiful!
I think I can see why Bob never pulled that stunt on you again. If I did something like that to Betsy I'd still be hearing about it.
I like your photo of the moss roses. You did a great job finding those blossoms lined up in a row. I like the mirror edit very much.
Ohhhhhh, he was soooooooooo BAD!
Glad you all slept last night. Best of luck with the next process, today!!!
That was NOT nice! He's lucky you didn't clobber him....ha ha! I am glad you got some rest last night....things will just continue to get better....
I should say,I'm sorry' but I burst out laughing about this trick.I guess true love won after all.OH YES,I did enjoy the pictures as well.
I love moss rose! Beautiful pics. Not sure I would be as forgiving as you for that little trick but you are good to be. Hoping your doggie is better soon!!!
Love the vivid colors of Moss rose flowers. It popped-up in our garden one year, I guess the birds left the seeds behind.
beautiful moss rose...Men...or should I say boys...they don't ever get over their pranks do they...
I have always loved Moss Roses, we had them every year growing up in Illinois. Thanks for the memories!
I would have cried too if my husband did that to me.
Oh My.... Glad you didn't get divorced over that 'joke'... Glad he learned that he can't play those kinds of jokes on you...
Beautiful Moss Roses....
Take all of the time you need to take care of your baby girl. Poor thing.
Hugs,
Betsy
Glad to hear you got a good night's sleep. Hooray!!!!
Men! That was a really rotten joke, he's lucky you let him live....lol
Good gravy! I think I would have had a heart attack! After all this time, have you thought of something really good?????...:)JP
I am afraid if that would have been me, he would have had something to remember it by...just from my reflexes.
One time when the girls were little, they were playing in their room. Well, it got awfully quiet...and I was sitting there wondering just what they were doing. I didn't want them to see me so I got down and crawled to where I could see around the corner.
Roger, in his brightness, snuck behind me and pinched me on the inside of my thigh...lucky him I had my shoes off, cause I kicked back like a horse kicking and kicked him in the jaw.
It was totally a reflex...I don't know if normal or from growing up with brothers. He still laughs about it.
i just wanted to say what betsy already has said.
i am so glad that you didn't get divorced over that 'joke'.
your moss roses are really stunning!
Your header is beautiful and the moss roses in a row are pretty.
Funny story...lucky he didn't get beaned! LOL
I really do think males think different from females! :)
