Baby says "Woe is Me! the cone and the dratted camera."
we took the cone off this morning because she refused to eat or drink with it on. we will leave it off while she is sleeping and we are with her and use it at night or if we can't sit with her. i will be staying home with her with a couple of breaks while daddy sits her until the stitches come out. Below photo is the pain of the camera NOT the ear.
Bandage comes off tomorrow, stitches in 10 days. This to shall pass, we both say. More pain in the pocket book. 495.00 OUCH on Ear pain and Purse Pain.

...and worth every penny! such a pained expression. she needs to have her every wish fulfilled for awhile. i'm sure she will.
best,
bonnie
So glad for the good news!!!!
But oh poor things, they just don't know WHY they have to wear such things, etc. -sigh-
Also, and a good thing probably, she doesn't realize what a WONDERFUL Photo Op she is providing for you!!! -giggles- If she did, she'd probably try to run away.
Nahhhhh... But you know what I mean. Pets just don't understand their owner's NEED to photograph them!!!! -chuckle-
So glad she is okay. I understand your worry. Everything is looking up. Just take it day by day and two weeks will pass quickly.
Samson Says: Hang in there Baby Girl, I know it hurts and is uncomfortable, but before you know it your mom and dad will take you back to that horrible place, but this time it will be all good. Your stitches will come out (ouch!) and the cone will come off for good. Sending hugs, your Samson.
With your loving care, she will do just fine.
I'm glad you liked my sidebar pictures. I love your header. That is one magnificent photo.
awww, poor thing!! sweet little baby girl!!
SO glad she's okay. thanks so much for the update.
all the best!
She's so sweet and I hope the time goes quickly and she is back playing with Jake before too long.
Oh, I hate when an animal is hurt. They don't understand. She will be fine soon.
I've looked just like that at times in my life. :)
poor baby girl, and poor mommy.
I'm glad to hear that Baby Girl is doing well after surgery, but I imagine she will be happy when the stitches are finally out. It also looks as if she'll be delighted when you point the camera at something other than her.
Congratulations on the baby bananas in the post below.
Oh how I hate it when the animals aren't well, I do hope she gets better quickly.
I remember when our old Fred had a eye operation, we took turns at staying up all night so that he didn't scratch his eye. We didn't begrudge him one minute.

I know that has to be miserable.
I hate to say but it reminds me of the comerical on TV about "Dish head" LOL
Any way I hope she's better soon.
Hi There, I'm catching up today... I had ready about Baby Girl on FB last night. So sorry that she had to go through this... Bless her heart. I wouldn't like that cone either.
Take care and now, YOU get some rest...
Hugs,
Betsy
Oh my goodness, she looks so pathetic. Are you giving her pain meds? I don't know how that bandage is staying on.
Poor Baby, hope she will be up and about soon.
Big Hugs my friend!
Eva
Bless her precious heart! I'm glad she's doing better.
Those cones are a necessity I am sure, but they do look aggravating. Glad she came through this.
she still looks precious even with the cone...hope she has a speedy recovery...
Oh bless... she looks so sad..
I hope she is back to her best soon.
awww Baby! She looks so pitiful! still pretty! she's so worth the money, but ouch is right! It was over $600 bucks last time for check up, heartguard and comfortis just for Roxy and Rambo. And now we have Rocket...we'll be eating beans everyday! THH
Baby I send you a gentle nose tap and big hug
Your BFFF

OUCH, that was painful for both of you. Those vet bills sure do add up fast. Poor Baby Girl looks so sad with that cone on and that last picture is so sweet.
Poor Baby! That is extreme OUCH! I hate it for her but she will get all better real soon. I can't believe they leave the stitches in for 10 days. I think people get theirs out in a week. Hope you get some sleep tonight!
Poor sweetheart - she looks so sad. I just had to laugh at that last picture of her - what a ham!
I know you all are hurting for her. Hope you get some sleep tonight. love, sandie
Glad she is doing well. She looks so sad, she really doesn't like the camera! Praying she continues to heal.
So thankful she is on her way to recovery.
But she's so worth it!
Baby Girl is worth every penny. That is the cutest pained expression I have ever seen. Shame on mommy for bugging her with the camera when her ear hurts.
I feel the purse pain with you! Poor little doggie.
Oh poor Baby girl!!! I know she'll be up and running before you know it. I do think they know how to milk the situation for all it's worth too. :)
Here's to you all get the rest you need in the days to come.
Mango popsicles--who knew!!
