Baby Girl UPDATE

Baby Girl came home from surgery at 4 pm Tuesday, she is fine, she hates the cone and mommy did not get much sleep last night, but she slept pretty good.  At 4 am, i was worried since she had no fluids for 2 days except the IV, so I fed her half a Popsicle. she refused orange, took the mango. go figure.

Baby says "Woe is Me! the cone and the dratted camera."

we took the cone off this morning because she refused to eat or drink with it on. we will leave it off while she is sleeping and we are with her and use it at night or if we can't sit with her. i will be staying home with her with a couple of breaks while daddy sits her until the stitches come out. Below photo is the pain of the camera NOT the ear.

Bandage comes off tomorrow, stitches in 10 days. This to shall pass, we both say. More pain in the pocket book. 495.00 OUCH on Ear pain and Purse Pain.

So glad for the good news!!!!

But oh poor things, they just don't know WHY they have to wear such things, etc. -sigh-

Also, and a good thing probably, she doesn't realize what a WONDERFUL Photo Op she is providing for you!!! -giggles- If she did, she'd probably try to run away.

Nahhhhh... But you know what I mean. Pets just don't understand their owner's NEED to photograph them!!!! -chuckle-

So glad she is okay. I understand your worry. Everything is looking up. Just take it day by day and two weeks will pass quickly.

Samson Says: Hang in there Baby Girl, I know it hurts and is uncomfortable, but before you know it your mom and dad will take you back to that horrible place, but this time it will be all good. Your stitches will come out (ouch!) and the cone will come off for good. Sending hugs, your Samson.

I'm glad to hear that Baby Girl is doing well after surgery, but I imagine she will be happy when the stitches are finally out. It also looks as if she'll be delighted when you point the camera at something other than her.

Congratulations on the baby bananas in the post below.

Oh how I hate it when the animals aren't well, I do hope she gets better quickly.
I remember when our old Fred had a eye operation, we took turns at staying up all night so that he didn't scratch his eye. We didn't begrudge him one minute.

Oh my goodness, she looks so pathetic. Are you giving her pain meds? I don't know how that bandage is staying on.

Poor Baby! That is extreme OUCH! I hate it for her but she will get all better real soon. I can't believe they leave the stitches in for 10 days. I think people get theirs out in a week. Hope you get some sleep tonight!

Baby Girl is worth every penny. That is the cutest pained expression I have ever seen. Shame on mommy for bugging her with the camera when her ear hurts.
