Tomatoes are blooming, the size of garden peas
No more bananas, this is all we will have, the temp went down to 52 and now all the flowers are dropping off. but we will have 10
Avocadas are as big as golf balls, but the Bratty Squirrels are dropping them on the ground and the Mama Security Patrol Officer-AKA MadSnapper is picking them up before the dogs eat them.
Neighbor's Royal Poinciana Tree |
Bob was talking on the phone to his friend Bob, they are two Bob's of five Bob's in the RC club. I came in here to check email and got a message that said NO INTERNET ACCESS, ran the troubleshoot and it said
TURN OFF MODEM TO RESET. I DID! ANDDDDDD
I hear Bob saying "HELLO?" " HELLO?" and then I remembered our PHONE is on the MODEM....
I yell down the hall, hang on, I unplugged the modem, you have to wait until it comes back up. 5 minutes later he dials Bob and I here him say....... "Our modem went down and I lost you"
do you think he was being NICE to me or was he ashamed to tell the other Bob what I did?

Love the first picture, it looked like some plant from outer space till I took a closer look and saw they are little green tomatoes. Funny story!! This has happened to me just last week...for some reason I have no internet and Phil has to unplug the router and the hookup, the re-start, I don't know why that happens
The baby tomatoes are so cute. Maybe the squirrels are just trying to help you harvest the avocados, I did say maybe.
I did that a couple of times just after we had the phone added to the modem. I was the one on the phone the first time I did it. My tendency to multitask was embarrassing that time.
Your tomatoes look good and I love avocados. We had about 3 1/2 inches of rain over the weekend. Yeah! I won't have to water the sod for a few days!
next time i must look at tomatoes at this stage.
Don't worry about it -- it happens to us all.... Great pics!
How wonderful that your tomatoes are blooming! I haven't even got mine planted yet. :(
Sounds Bob didn't skip a beat on his phone call. :)

I think your Bob is a sweetie to not tell on you!
I'm so sorry to see what those naughty squirrels are doing to your avocados. That poinsettia tree is HUGE!
Oh, I looked again and see it's a poinciana tree. OOPS!
Nice garden bounty and that tree is so pretty. And, the modem did go down. No need to explain why, he was being nice.
I think Bob was being nice! That tree is beautiful. Sorry you are only having 10 bananas.
I really like your random pictures. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of the flowers on the banana tree, but I am glad you will have a few. I think Bob was being very nice to you.
i use that word, but spell it randomocity. :)
i like your neighbor's tree!
Hi There, I'm trying to begin catching up -after being gone for a week. Loved your posts about loving dogs all through the years.
Sorry about your bananas--but you at least will have some.. It's COLD here now --and rainy.. We've had 3 inches of rain recently!
So the bratty squirrels are eating your avocadas???? The squirrels drive me crazy also--trying to get to the bird food... Grrrrrrr...
Interesting about the modem problem... Oh the joys of modern technology... ha
Hugs,
Betsy
I think he did it out of respect to you.
And 10 bananas and the avocados - too early to eat?
And you have some cute tomatoes!
Love, sandie
Baby bananas. So cute.
That tree is absolutely gorgeous. At first I thought it was a red mimosa - although I don't even know that if color exists in mimosas. I've been watching my tomato plants every day! I have 13 and if we get a crop I'll have to start selling them on the roadside! I have some fruit that is about the size of golf balls so it won't be long now! I've always wanted an avocado tree but never lived where one would thrive. They really don't even do well in Phoenix. I suppose it's just too dry although occasionally you hear of someone who has a successful fruit-producing tree. If I come visit, will you make avocado and tomato salad?
Like the random shots.
That is one beautiful tree. I love the little bananas, good luck with them. And I think it's nice of Bob not to put the blame on you! ;)
Oh them bratty squirrels! Funny with modem
Tiny avocados...never saw them that small before.
Amazing bananas all for you. Now 50's is really cold for your neck of the woods.
Wish we had planted tomatoes. they are so yummy when home grown. Not plastic like store bought.
Your modem story is a hoot. Maybe its time to change from dial-up.
Have a great day.
A follow up to my latest post...
Steve was released from hospital this morning. they could not find a reason for his episode. Happy he's released but no diagnosis does make me a bit worried.
Will it happen again?
I guess that's where trust comes in.
i'm late but i'm here.
i really like your random shots!i also like your neighbor's tree.
randomosity is a good word and your tomatoes look really good.
Adorable tomatoes! I Love your neighbor's tree...pretty! I think he did that out of respect for you. :)
How is Baby doing??
Lovely "ball", I mean...tomatoes...and poor bananas, well..you'll have 10!
Oh...Bob did not realized what really happened ...in fact he thought the problem was..."outdoors"....(that's what I say to Zé (hubby) when I do something like that!!!
Love the photos...and that tree!And I saw your hand...LOL
