I'm a little teapot, short and stout,
here is my handle and here is my spout.
when I get all steamed up here me shout.
just tip me over and pour me out.

Did you sing that with me?
This sweet teapot graces the table in the kitchen of the Cracker House in Manatee Historical Village, see yesterday post for the home if you missed it.

I DID sing along. I remember my mom singing it, even in her seventies when I would ask her, she would put her hand on her hip like the teapot handle.
I sure was singing along! I love that song! My Grandma taught me that song and I have sung it many times to the grandkids when they were younger. I love how such songs stick in your head. That one is a cutie!
The little teapot is so pretty but what really caught my eye in your first two photos was the glass to the right of the teapot. One of my grandmothers had a set of those.
Yep, I was singing along!
That pretty little teapot caught my eye yesterday and yes, sang right along with you. ;) I love the dishes with that pretty green delicate lace border - wow! And what is this? In the land where anything can happen, MadSnapper did not add steam?!? I'm shocked! LOL.
There is nothing like a good hot cup of tea in a nice teapot..
Much love Crystal xxx
Yes I sung it with you and I will have that little ditty in my head the rest of the day.
LOVE your new header!
Yep, singing it right now. I LOVED my visit to the Cracker house.
Best,
Bonnie
I like the simplicity of this teapot. Short and stout ain't all bad, is it? :))
Singing here! Enjoyed your new banner, too.
Of course I was singing along in my heart, and doing the actions as well. This used to be a song we did often when my granddaughter was little. Now that she is all grown up and the ripe old age of 6 we don't sing it anymore.LOL
I haven't sung that sweet little tune in many moons.. thanks Sandra, I enjoyed the sing-a-long and cute tea pot as well.
I was singing in my mind--does that count?
I'm singing along. I wonder if the lid leaked like so many of that kind did .
i absolutely did.
I love your wooden houses, something we don't have much of here.

Oh that was so good and I love the table setting and yes Mom was singing and doing hand motions...MOL
Hugs Madi and Mom
Gosh yes. There are just some things that are never forgotten. Except for our grandchildren of today. I have a million songs and poems my grandmother and mother sang to all their children and I did to mine but that's where it's all ending.

I would have been singing if I wasn't listening to some Bach as I read this. It's a very pretty teapot.
Pretty teapot! I just love your header! I was singing along! You are so silly and fun! :)
Yup, I sang it too.
I love teapots but just have no room for a collection of them. Great shots of the table setting.
I have a teapot photo to post but never had the courage. Though it would be boring! But I see that it's not!
I love the pretty little teapot and the simplicity of it...in fact, I love the simplicity of the whole room (what I can see).
Enjoy your day!
Yes, Sandra, I was humming along, only because my singing is awful!
How did you know that I sang that with you? lol I like the teapot and I Love your new header
I love the red-and-white table cloth!
What a great piece! I love all this old enameled ware. Never have seen one of the teapots before; now I got to find me one!
Cute tea pot- and I love those plates!
Very cool! I did sing that with you -- really loud too -- did you hear me?
Cute teapot and yes I did sing with you :)

Hotrod loves that song...me too...I can just see that teapot dancing and singing...
I loved that song and used to sing it all the time. I think the all white tea pot is so pretty on the red and white tablecloth. Love, sandie
I love your new header, it looks shabby chic! And those tea pots too :)... Happy weekend!
