Thursday Noonish, Bob was throwing the ball for Jake, Baby was sunbathing, and I was in my chair soaking up Sunshine Vitamin D. of which we had none for 5 straight days. I spied this hibiscus GLOWING in the corner of the yard.
Guess What MadSnapper Did Next??? isn't it gorgeous? Above With Ants and below Without Ants
no edits done, this is the way it looked in real life... well I did remove the ants.
Backside Stunning!
I snapped the one below to show you what sunshine does shining through. there was one beam only shining on the one flower of the six on the bush. they are 5 inches across.

Sunshine? I've heard of it, but I'm not sure what it is! Deccy x
Good morning :-) Lovely pictures of the Hibiscus, they're such beautiful flowers. Well the weather changes rapidly over here, think it's gonna rain again. But, holiday is about to start and I will just enjoy being off work. Have a great day and thank you for sharing some sunshine :)

So beautiful! I love shots where you can see the light through leaves or flowers. Glad you finally got some of that elusive sunshine!
What a gorgeous bloom glowing with the sunlight!
Beautiful capture of this flower. I know you have to be over the moon with seeing the sunshine.

Oh...these do capture the eye! Beautiful hibiscus. Your pictures sure do brighten my day. Glad you have some sun there, Sandra.
Your photos of the back-lit hibiscus blossom are glorious. Thanks for sharing this beauty with us.
Have a great weekend.
This is awesome!!! I know just what you means about the sun on flowers, it makes all the difference! I try to snap them when the sun is on them. Your post from yesterday, I am SO jealous!!!! I have never been able to get a good dragonfly snap, there are just not many around here. And you even got a PINK one, like in a fairy tale!!!! This would be a little girl's dream, it is unbelievable. And your detail is amazing. Love all your butterflies!! And I guess Bob is now going to have the biggest avocado salad and sandwich in the world!!! Thanking God that you were not only safe, but didn't even lose power.
I love the rain and I love the smells just after a rain. Enjoy!
Yes indeed it is gorgeous and Mom's fav color too. I hope you have lots of sun to dry up all that water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink
Hugs Madi and Mom

I read your previous post too and I'm glad that the damage wasn't worse for you. And the insects that came out to dry are spectacular. So are the flowers here. I know you was happy to see the sun again.

I'm glad the temperatures allowed you to enjoy the sunshine. I haven't set a foot outside today. Hot hot hot and humid. Have a great weekend!
It looks like between the rain and sunshine that is one very happy hibiscus. After all that rain I'm sure you are enjoying the warms rays as well.
