Ibis Island

On the way home from the library, I spied these Ibis out on a tiny Island in Ware Creek, slammed on the brakes, hung out the window and here we are.

Do you keep your condiments in the fridge in a certain place?

My condiments are:  Mayo, mustard, BBQ sauce, Dressings all in a row, bottom shelf of refrigerator door, in the above order ONLY….

Bob will place the mayo where the mustard sits, and when I find it I move it to proper order. Her REPEATEDLY puts the catsup where the dressing goes and vice versa.

In your freezer, do you keep certain things in the door and others in the right hand corner, with bread in the middle?

Does your jar of Jif sit in the same place all the time?

So if the fridge and cabinets have to have everything where it GOES, why do I not care about inside the drawers?

My dresser drawers are a pile of confusion, Bob's are neat and folded and stacked. BUT he never puts his glasses case on the base to the computer where it belongs, just lays them where ever, and I PUT them in the RIGHT Place.

I can reach out with my eyes closed and find anything on my bathroom sink, his is a disorderly mess, and each week, I put each thing in its PLACE in his bathroom and it last a couple of hours.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST
Does any of this have anything to do with anything? What is the purpose of this post? Anyone know? I sure don’t.

Oh my goodness, they have their own island. Love those reflections.
There are certain shelves we use for condiments but hubby is pretty good about putting them in the general area of where they go. As far as his desk, he's the one that has to find something if it gets lost. THH!

The pictures are wonderful. As for the rest of the things,I have some stuff that has to be in certain places, but other parts of my house are in a turmoil.I 'usually' find most of the stuff I'm looking for.

Do I have lots of things, which MUST be in their-own-place???? OF COURSE! Doesn't everyone? -smirk-

Do I have to "take care of" things, which HE does not put in their-own-place??? OF COURSE! Doesn't every wife? -smirk-

Here's one of mine! (See you've got me doing *True Confessions*)

I MUST have my surroundings NEAT.

But I can EASILY over look dust.

The purpose was to make me laugh!!!

Oh, my, you and my fridge would not get along...I don't even get along with it.

I do not know what is so different about the fridge I have now...it is a side by side as was the one before it. The other one, I loved...could keep it in some kind of order. This one, though it is supposed to have more room--it seems like it has less. I clean it up all nice and neat and in a days time it is a mess.

Just a difference in a male and female!!!!! Hubby always says: "Well--I'm just a MAN." And I say: " I'm glad you are!!"....

They live with our craziness and we live with theirs.. That's what makes it all so special...

Hugs,
Betsy

Well--we all have our little quirks. I have mine and some of them seem like a contradiction. Great photo. Yes--I like my mustard and Mayo in the door to my right. Handy.

What an awesome shot, I feel as if I'm on that island sitting alongside !

I try keeping things in their proper place, oftentimes they migrate, must be the fairies :)

I'm glad I wasn't behind you when you slammed the brakes, but happy that you got these wonderful shots of the Ibis islanders.

After 50 years we have become accustom to each others quirkiness :)

It's a mix here ... depends on what it is. The ibis are enjoying their day in the sun.

The purpose of all of that is because you can :)
I used to be very particular about what goes where but the older I get the less I care.

You just needed to "vent" a little. You do not want to know about my things of this nature. When you are by yourself, your life if very different.

I think the purpose of this post is to entertain us while we enjoy your neat Ibis Island.

Great Ibis shots! Sure glad you didn't fall out of the car.

Love your Ibis photos, they are so crisp and clear.

I do usually try to keep things "roughly" in the same place so as to know where to look for them. Depends a bit on size and shelfspace and frequency of use too though. Since I live alone I usually have no one to blame but myself if things mysteriously move around...

I love those birds, they look so cool with those curved bills. We have them too, but I have never seen them in a big group like that.

I think they like togetherness. :)

Great shot of those birds. The reflections are nice. Sounds like you and Bob are all mixed up with your organization. So are me and mine and then throw in a 19 year old.

Isn't it funny how some things matter so much and others don't and how others drive us nuts when they don't do things the way we like them
