That vine looks so small and delicate for such large blooms. The colors are just gorgeous. Love your photos especially those macros.

The creeper indeed is the proper name for them. They always know how to come back. Great shots of them. Have a great week. Lynne

The Creeper is really pretty! Better pretty then ugly since it will never go away. LOL These are fantastic photos!

My gracious!!!! LOOK at those details you captured!!! Amazing!

Actually, me-thinks most stuff likes to be hacked back. At least, all the stuff I used to have fun with hacking back, grew like topsy, after. Kind of a futile effort.

This spring I didn't hack. We have a full-fledged "Sleeping Beauty's Castle" look. -chuckle-

Gentle hugs,
"Auntie"

it is lovely. the grasshoppers decimated mine here this summer down to woody vines. it is slowly pushing out a few leaves again but no blooms this year.

Your macros are marvelous, and the blossom is beautiful. I can sympathize with Bob, however, since I fight creepers up here. Unfortunately ours aren't as pretty as yours.

Beautiful. I especially like the ones with the dark background.

You get the most amazing macros! Beautiful! I've still not been able to do that with this camera, I don't know if it's the camera or the photographer. :)

Your Flame vine is stunning, Sandra. We learned the only drawback is their creeping where they are not wanted.

That's what Creepers do---they CREEP.... ha ha .... Great pictures... They really are pretty... Hope our Clematis starts 'creeping' again. It didn't bloom this year, so we cut it back.
Hugs,
Betsy

I love to see your flowers...even if it is a vine:)

That's a gorgeous flower on that creeper.
It seems to have a personality and being a creeper I can just imagine it creeping.
The macro shot where you can see the pollen are great!

Look at all your followers' comments! How very wonderful! Love the texture in that last shot.

A creeper makes it sound like something sinister but it's too pretty. Obviously Bob must think it's a tad sinister though since he keeps chopping it back....lol
I like the new header picture

Perhaps it is a Creeper but it sure is pretty.
I love the various shades of orange and red.

You should put together a flower book...:) Love the new header photo. ♥

Still giggling about "the vine it road in on". And who said flowers were delicate?

Christine said...

I love these beautiful trumpet vines; the color is quite vivid. Great job on the macro shot!

Hi Sandra, just saw some of these trumpet vines the other day and took some photos with my little point & shoot digital for a future post...hmmm you bet me to it with these GREAT images, but I still might do one after waiting awhile. They DO creep everywhere and can be quite invasive.
