Dedicated to Declan

Declan's photo borrowed from his Mum
While speaking to my friend Declan in the UK, he said he would like to come to Florida, but his Mum said he can't get in the country, so they can't come.  I told him I would take photos of the marina for his Mum the next time I went to the library.
To meet Declan, click on the photo or his name.

Above is my white SUV parked facing the waterfront of the library which is the building in the background  and below photos are the view from the library

Twin Dolphin Marina

The sky cooperated just so I could tempt Deccy and his Mums to come for a visit because I had an idea on how to get Deccy through customs.

White balance on  Shade in this one

Below is my IDEA.. I reserved the empty slip, and Deccy if you charter a private boat (make it a big one since it is a LOOONG way from UK to Florida) there is no customs, you just park the boat and get off in Florida.

I have included the photo of the breakwater wall that protects the boats from wakes of boats speeding in the no wake zone..... I am Waiting Deccy.
and we do have three Greyhound Rescues here... in case you get lonely.

PS my bestest  friends have four paws, don't yours?

Oh you make it look so tempting! Maybe we could do Florida instead of Wales next week.... Maybe we could do both; Charter a boat from Hollyhead to Florida! I wonder if they have boats that big in Hollyhead...other than Irish Ferries....hmmmmm! Deccy x

If I was Declan I would certainly be tempted. Seeing all those beautiful clouds in the blue sky reflecting on the water makes me wish I was there. The water is so still it looks like a mirror, love the reflections.

Love the harbor pics. Beautiful. Even with your method I think he would still be declared an illegal immigrant!

HAHA that was so cute! You must live in a beautiful area!!!!
Isn't it funny how kids picks names. Well I looked up what Mya means, it means Mother or the Great One...the funny thing is, you probably remember Penny, my sisterinlaw who passed away. Well, my daughter use to call her Mama Penny, and as a young Mom I got upset with that...SO I keep teasing my daughter that I'm going to have Autumn call me Mama Debbie but I never did, so I think this is Penny's way as a little joke for me to my daughter ....crazy but fun!

PS If you can follow this story, your doing good!

How tempting this must be for your friend! What a beautiful view while visiting the post office! The water looks like glass, such lovely reflections. My son has a jon boat that he would love to park there and visit with you and your four legged friends. Our bestest friends are four legged. :)

Gorgeous photos and Declan is very, very handsome! We adopted a greyhound years ago and Tigger lived with us for twelve wonderful years. I loved that dog and his laid back personality. Lovable couch potatoes...that's what they are. Greyhounds are great dogs and they deserve a good home. We never regretted our decision for one day. Yep, the best friends have four paws.
