Robinson Preserve - SOOTC

I am joining SOOTC today, All Photos today SOOTC (out of the camera, no edits) Above photos were taken in bright sunlight from the top of the below tower. You can see it was bright and blue skies. the Silvery Moon effect was cause by shooting INTO the sun.

The amazing thing is the fact MadSnapper who is afraid of heights climbed to the top. I assure you  I never got close to the rail I was holding the camera out straight armed a foot back so i could not see straight down.  The Above photos taken with point and shoot Nikon. the tower is 40 feet high and the path was another 40 feet from the bottom of the tower.
Guess what Hubby was doing???

I love the natural photos! I would have never had the nerve to climb that tower. It makes me dizzy to even think about it.

Best,
Bonnie

Good for you! I'm only afraid if there is not a railing. Great shots.

The view from the top is worth the climb. I think I would be OK up there as long as the rail is sturdy, but I can feel my knees complaining about the climb.

What a gorgeous place. I never trust the railings!!!

I'm not a fan of climbing towers myself, but at least the rail does look sturdy. I love those photos of the cyclist and how you also caught the shadows of the bicycles.

LOL. Oh that man! :-) Love your photos. I'd like to visit that place some time. I don't have a problem with heights, but I don't usually trust railings. I think that's carrying it a bit far. :-)

Wonderful photos. I'm glad you climbed, that way you got the great shot of your husband.

At first, I wondered from where, these pics were being taken????

Hooray for you, that you managed to climb! I'm with you on that fear of heights. Guess it's more an awful fear that if I got too close to an edge, for too long, I'd jump. -sigh-

My husband would lean on the rail too. And I might do so, a bit. But not for long. :-) And no looking straight down. :-)

This is sure a beautiful spot to enjoy and some of my favorites of your photos. Great job.

I've been away getting new photos, but I'm back and hope to be by more often.

Thanks for keeping up the good work.

Good for you even climbing to the top of that tower!
My knee would never have made it and heights and I aren't on very friendly terms either.
Love the photos you got.

I am so proud of you,Sandra! I really don't like heights either! But anything to get the shot, right? Hubby looks so relaxed. Great fun and great pictures!

I don't have much of a problem with heights especially if it's a platform like that with a railing. I would have been right there with Bob looking over and of course snapping pictures

Well you know I hate heights but last week I conquered my fears. Glad to be back and catching up with blog friends. :)

Sandra, now that you made the successful climb, can we expect to see more photos from this viewpoint?

That first pic makes me think of a snake! There is no way I would be leaning on the rail!!! These are gorgeous photos! You got some good exercise!

Clever SOOTC shots. Good for you climbing the tower when you don't like heights. I'm okay as long as I don't look down.
