Are you ready boots?
Start walking
These boots are made for walking
And that’s just what they’ll do
One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you (if you are singing these words, you MAY be Old) Who sang These boots are made for walking?
These Boots were made for Walkin recorded by Nancy Sinatra and released Feb 22, 1966 and reached # 1 on the US and UK pop charts that year.
Above and below Florida BOOTS..... In November no less....

Well---what shoes were you wearing, Miss Madsnapper???? If I were there, you'd probably not take my picture (at least not the feet).. I always wear my TENNIS shoes... Oh Well--I know it's boring, but they are comfy!!!!
Hope you two had a great Thanksgiving. Did you cook a traditional dinner?
Hugs,
Betsy
Happy Thanksgiving Ms Sandra! May our good Lord continue to bless you. I like your new header with the sepia color. Stay happy :)
I actually sang it lol! This time of year the warm boots are on. Have a great day!
I haven't even pulled out my boots yet and I'm up north. It won't be long however. Somehow furry boots and FL don't seem to mix. I'd take the sandals.
Hmmmm....no winter boots needed here! Wish we had sandal weather!
Wishing you a happy weekend Sandra!
xo Catherine
Ah yes, I do remember that song, so I guess I am OLD!
NANCI SINATRA! She sang that song! :-) And I didn't peek at any other comments.
Cute post topic!!!
Gentle hugs,
"Auntie"
Definitely would not be wearing those sandals in my world today. Brrrr,it's cold.
I prefer the Florida style, except when hiking of course.. my flip-flops make me flop all over the trails ~:)
i knew that answer and know that song well. :)
Don't you love being sneaky and taking candid shots from behind?
Who could forget - "These Boots were Made for Walking". I just sang the song myself. Loved it!
No boots here in Western NY yet! I like the sandals the best!
MOL Florida boots!!
Too funny Mom and Dad were just noticing all the styles and colors of boots last week. Some look like death traps...stiletto boots should illegal...guess the ER gets lots of broken bones due to them
Hugs Madi and Mom
I'm not familiar with the song, but I want to wear my boots! I haven't worn any boots yet. Maybe if I had gone out early this morning, but I chose to stay in the warm bed. :)
I want the puppy dog with the red jacket on, just adorable!!!
Love the boots...Love the song......sandals get worn in Texas year around... Those were really cute
A flash from the past. Personally, I am more into the dogs than the boots..
Nancy Sinatra and I AM old!!
Love this series of boots and shoes. What a fun subject choice.
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Sandra.
I have to say I'm Thankful for your sense of humor and that you share it with us.
Sue
Sooo.... Can you judge the dogowner by the shoes or the other way round...?
I did sing along and I did know it was Nancy Sinatra, but I didn't know the year....Lorelei would like the shoe show.
Yes I did sing along :) I couldn't remember who sang it though. What a neat collection of shots
I am old ya.
Sinatra Girl. Rright? Or am I wrong?
Senior moment.
I am humming the song.Singing it well part of it.
One of these days these boots are going to walk right over you.
Had a great beat to this song.
Are you ready boots. That is the part I love.
Love you pictures of you in those boots. Wow. They are you right???
Awesome. If not. I can pretend.
I love the way dog owners often dress to match their pet. Quite a variety of footwear at your event. It's definitely the weather for wearing warm, rainproof footwear over here.
I just had a good pair that I work to work all winter last year, repaired. Shoe repair shops are hard to find anymore, not too many people to that type of work and not too many people repair their shoes...
I loved that song!!
Boots are a must in our snowy city. Not sure why folks wears them when it's warm though and until today it has been mild.
Just a few miles north of our home the snow's blowing while we still have sunshine.
Nancy Sinatra and I have got my boots out. :)
And people thought you were taking pictures of their dogs,,,,LOL...I for some reason am always drawing boots...this is a cute post. :)
I, too, remember it, loved it and still have the album.
Ahhhh, sad that I'm so late replying - was singing along but no one could do it like Ms. Nancy Sinatra. :)
