Almost wordless Wedesday

As I clicked my seat belt shut, I saw a bird land on the roof of the car next to me. I eased the electric window down and aimed the zoom lens and this is what I got through the passenger window. Have no clue what he/she is.

UPDATE from TexWisGirl... it is a mocking bird and she sent me this link to another blog with more MOCKINGBIRDS

Got those cute little bird shots.

But oh no!

She couldn't just let them be, could she? (-chuckle- I'm reading a rhyming blog and it's catching...)

Really nice capture. Looks like a Mockingbird to me. If you heard it sing you would know. They run through every song they know in one sitting. Delightful birds.
He/She certainly was a ham.

Excellent shot ...we think it is a mocking bird but we'd have to see the tail to be certain.

Your editing in the last photo is cool. I am either to slow or noisy or perhaps my camera has to long of a delay because I have the hard time getting a photo of birds. I know I can always come to your blog anytime to enjoy your photo's of them. :)

Great shot! We've always had mockingbirds around here mocking us, but I was never really sure what they look like, thanks for sharing. Funny how familiar they look, maybe they are shy?! Enjoy your day!

Yep, I was going to say Mockingbird. I love to listen to them. Great captures!

Yes, it is a mockingbird indeed. I was attacked by one going into a mall several years ago. She had a nest over the entrance and was attacking everyone who entered.

Yep, like Ann that song is going to be stuck in my brain for awhile.

He is a cute little fellow and looks even better with his "flock".
