On the way to Staples, I pulled in Bray Park and wandered out through the three acres of Oaks. (note: Staples is 1.9 miles and 5 minutes from home, but it took me and hour and a half to get there)
"Large streams from little fountains flow, Tall oaks from little acorns grow." 14th Century Proverb
Nestled in the oaks is a fenced playground for the little acorns to play and grow into mighty oaks.

I do enjoy your close up pictures and all of them. Well done. I like trees.
Love the tree photos. They are just sticks in the making. hehehhe

Lorelei would consider that a special place to go to...and if it were near, she would want to go there all the time.
Gosh I don't think I have ever done that - must be nice to be able to just pull over somewhere and do something no matter how long it takes. I am waiting for that time!!!
Very nice park - seems they have a lot of parks in Florida. With shade!!!

Sounds like my kind of trip - one that takes four times longer than I thought it would!
I enjoyed the walk with you. That 1.5 hour trip seems totally reasonable--exercisr and a productive photo safari.
What a great place for a photographer to explore. It would be difficult to leave.
I can relate to a short distance taking a long time to drive. One has to stop and get those pictures. How else can they be remembered. I love the play of shadows under the trees.
you made me laugh with your 'time' comment. :)
now that was way more fun than going to Staples....love those trees...and the shadows are awesome...
A good diversion on your journey to the store!
That's a very nice park! Love it that it has a lot of shade at the playground area. Around here the playgrounds are out in the open and just too hot for the kids to play on.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A lovely visage of shades, colors, shadows...I want to BE THERE! You are just like me, a ten minute trip to the grocery ends up being an hour. Especially in spring and summer.
Woof! Woof! The kind my mom loves to take photos ... trees and shadows. Happy Saturday. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
I love the playground photos. You are so great at stuff like that. I'm MIA on my email. I've had so much going on that I haven't had time to check it and now I know I have a ton to go through and I don't feel like it. But soon, take care.
These trees are so beautiful. And make such lovely shadows... Magical almost....

Madsnapper has been at it again...and we know she does it just for us.
On the way to Staples is a lovely way to travel.
Hugs madi and Mom
That is the trouble with bloggers they take a long time to get from A to B with camera in tow. Love the shadows and the pretty park but where are the little acorns playing?
Natures scenic route is always the best way to anywhere. Peaceful and serene.
Be well and happy, Sandra. take care ~:)
What a nice distraction. Love the shapes at the playground.
Bray Park looks very nice. I always want to pull into different places to wander and take pictures but I usually don't end up doing it. Maybe I could come there and you could give me so lessons on how to do that
I just love the trees. I'm glad you took so long to get to the store! It's a lovely park.
Bet the kids have a great time there!
Great shadows and brilliant colors Fantastic photography as always. Love your reflection shots too. Hugs
Did it take you that long to get to Staples because of snapping? You? Never! Ha! :)
Well, if that park was between me and Staples it would take me a long time to get to the store also. Those trees are gorgeous. I love all the shadows.
looks like a great place to take a walk. it's a lovely park with such lovely trees too.
love the shadows and the contrast underline the photos in a very beautiful way.
Very scenic place and I love the shadows! Hope you are having a nice day.
Nice little park- now what in the world took you so long to get there? HA HA !
A nice detour! Looks like time well spent!
What a wonderful and colorful playground. Your photos of light/shadow are always a treat.
I love that you see all the color, geometric and irregular shapes , circles , and swirls in nature. If you were a painter I bet you would be an abstract painter.
How do you ever arrive at places when everything catches you eye and you just have to stop a bit and click? These are brilliant shots.
