Isn't she lovely

Can you guess where I found this cow ART? looks like she weighs only 22 oz... that is your clue....

Yesterday I said our Central Heat/AC was on the blink, in fact it almost caught on fire... Thank you to the Lord and to those of you who prayed for us.

The AC man came, he was honest, on time, same day, and the repair was WAY under what we expected. 180.00 total for parts and labor.. it was a bad relay switch and he did not say one time this unit is OLD, which it is, and needs to be replaced. We found an honest repairman...these days that calls for celebration.

Isn't she lovely? I played with her in PicMonkey

did you guess where I found her?     what do you like in your coffee?

So sweet. I love the eyes. You got off pretty well. The AC people around here will rip you off. I have had so much trouble with them. I finally found an independent guy that does it on the side. He has been wonderful and will not charge $500 for an $18 part. EXcept for this guy, I hate all of them. AC is a necessary item here in the desert and do they ever take advantage of that.

My theory is when you find a great and honest repair man, if he is too young to marry, see if he is OK with adoption.

I like real half and half in my coffee. My Florida sister totes Publix coffee creamer with her wherever she goes and won't use anything else!

So glad you weren't harmed by your furnace (somehow I missed that post)!! Keep warm!

Best,
Bonnie

Congrats for finding an honest repairman!

I bet you found the cow somewhere near the furnace/air conditioner.

I have to have cream or half & half in my coffee and today I'm out of both, man I'm craving coffee right now! Have a cup for me...enjoy the day!

Cool cow. MOM likes some sort of hazelnut in her coffee. And I am super happy you got a good repair guy. Keep him on the speed dial.
Blessings,

OMCs Mad Snapper thank goodness you were able to get your system fixed pronto and cheapo!!

She is definitely adorable..Mom drinks her coffee hot and black..but with such a cute little cow on the Publix creamer she might just have to reconsider.....if we had a Publix here.

Glad you found a good one... Too many want to replace units too quickly... We like to get all the life out of the one that's there...cute cow

Yep, I used to have an old AC unit and I got so tired of repairmen complaining about its age. Of course it continued to run another 10 years before it finally died. Another gripe is the guy who complains about the fix that the former guy did. I just want to say the fact is I got what I got so just fix it and shut up!

I like any kind of cream (whipped, powdered, you name) in my coffee with about 10 grains of sugar! Grains, not packages or spoonfuls!

COOL new blog look here!!!

Wonderful news, all round, on the repairs.

I use sugar and Soy Creamer in my decaf.

Love your cow, reminds me of a real one my mom had, it was from her mother. When we moved I gave it to my daughter. You reminded me of the cow, and I should get a picture of it!!

Wal-Mart? And she IS lovely!!! I am so glad about the furnace! I had feared it was not good to be getting so hot. Your repair man is a gem in a pool of sharks, you need to get his home number for the future because you never know...

I like her bell. So glad you had an honest experience with your repair!

so glad you got it fixed and i love your cow!

Cute cow! I would have never guessed Publix, maybe Wal-mart.
Great news on the AC! That's a decent price for same day, parts and labor. :)
My dad has a plumbing company which includes irrigation and hubby does a bit of AC/heat and construction and most auto mechanics so I feel very fortunate! :)

Glad you got the repairs done so quickly and at a decent price, too! Most time it seems they have to order parts and you wait and wait, then get it fixed only to be stuck with a humongous bill!
Loved your moo cow editing! I'd never guessed where it came from.

Happy to hear that the heat/ac was repaired without damage to your house. I love your cow! I have a creamer who would like to friend her on facebook. lol. BTW, I take my coffee black, no sugar. So if I had a cow like that, she would only have to work when we have company.

hang on to that repair man. You don't find many that will not try and rip you off.
I thought the cow might be on a creamer but wasn't sure. I've gotten hooked on International Delights Hazelnut creamer. YUM

It really is a blessing to find a professional out there anywhere. I am happy for you. And - you know I love that cow. What I like is my coffee is less coffee and more tea. Sorry - but I just can't tolerate the effects of coffee.

We have always used milk in our coffee but lately we have been using Coffee Mate in vanilla. It tastes very good for a change.

Glad you found a good repairman...some are very good and some are very bad!!!!!!!!

You like COWS in your coffee??????? NAH---you like that powdered creamer INSIDE that cow!!!!! ha ha (I thought you got your little cow at Chick-Fil-A.... ha ha )

Great news (but scary) about your AC. $180 is not bad to spend on it---much better than a new unit. Our unit is old (came with the house in about 1983) and still going. Our maintenance man hasn't suggested to us yet to get a new one... It just keeps on working... Amazing.

Hugs,
Betsy

Glad to hear you got a deal with an honest repairman. Keep his name.

Scary about how close to a fire you were. Good thing you were blanketed in prayer. I am glad the repairman was honest and your rate was reasonable. Did you sign up for PickMonkey? I have been thinking about it.

She IS lovely! I use sugar free hazelnut creamer...yum!

I'm very impressed that you found an honest repairman. That definitely calls for a celebration. I really like your cow.

Laughing about Arkansas Patti's comment. But she's right, if you find a good and honest repairman you've got to keep him around.

That little cow is adorable. I would buy the creamer just for her but no Publix here. I drink my coffee black most of the time but sometimes I like International Coffee Mocha creamer.

That is a cute cow! No coffee for me unless it has some rich fancy french vanilla cream in it. :)

Straight (espresso) or semi-skimmed milk frothed up. Glad you got your heating fixed.

I use milk in my coffee and preferably a bit heated so that it makes a nice caffee latte yummmmmmm

I think you got it from Publix!!! And i love Half and Half - I forget the name of what we use - but it is not Publix's brand. Sandie

I suspected where you got her!

I often wonder what we will do when Roger gets too old to fix stuff...usually if he don't know, some of his buddies can tell him what to look for/try. We have had to replace something on our AC a couple times....it is getting old, too.

Oh, I like cream/er in my coffee.
