I like to imagine an adult showing children how they used to build huts when they were children...and in that moment they were all equally children again.

That is really neat, Sandra... I would imagine it would be kind of spooky-looking at night!
And those were very wise words from the ocean....

Now that is a great hut! You can see why I save sticks. They are very useful and provide shelter.

That's a pretty neat hut you found. I also like the ocean's advice. Thanks for a great post.

I'd have loved that hut when I was younger. Cool find! Good advice from the ocean, too.

Did you JUST take this??? I know this is a STUPID question, but is this thing just blown beach stuff, or did someone make it, maybe some boys? Or maybe a bit of both. The more I go back and LOOK, the more I think someone had to make it, some of the branches look heavy and well placed.

P.S. I think some girls should go in there and decorate it with shells and seaweed.

I don't think anyone tires of fort building--even adults.

Loved the "poetic" advice on the seas-ons of life!

The hut looked like it would be spookily thrilling for children's beach adventures.

Love the Ocean advice...right on!
The hut looks cozy and a perfect place to get in out of the wind.
It seems like it took a lot of patience to build.
In response to your comments a few posts back.
I will have to look into some pools around here.Don't know if there are any and what the cost would be.
I sure would like some relief.

Looks like something that Les whats his name would try and survive 7 days in..Or maybe just some kids playing on the beach! :)

well isn't that a neat little hut. Maybe left over from shipwrecked castaways?
Love the advice from the ocean.

A beach bum castle.... I could nap there...warm sand...sound of the surf....blue sky and at night twinkling stars as a night light. Good find....:)

Awesome pictures. I just love dried dead tree stumps. I have a large collection of photos of them.

That is one really nut beach hut. Someone spent a lot of time making it just right. Give me a sleeping bag and I would give it a try.

Mother Ocean is so wise. That is some good advice.

That is so cool. The old weathered wood has a beauty all its own.

Those tree trunks on the beach really bear witness to the forces of nature that brought them there...
