That's RIGHT, you are trespassing on HIS home turf! He will only tolerate you at best. I always love seeing the cute lizards. I have seen one one time at a friends cabin, they DART very fast, like a silverfish. I guess that is their defense to keep from being eaten. The Passion plant was well hidden. They always amaze me. They look like something very complex that was designed by a drafter or am artist. But they were designed by the MASTER artist.

Leonard obviously doesn't share our enthusiasm for photography :)
Love those shots

I think that was a look of disgust - he says you're taking too many pictures - to get out of there! lol

But they were worth it - all of them.

Love, sandie

One of the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen.
It's also our State's wildflower, and grows a'plenty along the hedgerows.
Mr. Lizard has got his eye on you :)

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful flower!!! Please stalk it again, some time. I love it.

But I don;t love those little critters. Brrrr, they used to "give me the willies," when we were in FL. -chuckle-

And why not? He does look disgusted. Any critter which looks disgusted at me, I don't have to like.

"Auntie" sezzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... ,-)

He is adorable! That passion plant looks like something you would find in the ocean. It really is stunning!

You were being stalked by Leonard or perhaps Leonard thought he was being stalked. Either way there was some stalking going on.

The Passion flower is gorgeous. It looks like all the rain made your backyard very happy.

A gorgeous passion flower and expressive lizard watching you make a great post, Sandra!

So he wouldn't smile for the camera. That's reptiles for you. The passion flower is so intricate and showy even though she looks like she is having a bad hair day.

Sandra, that flower is absolutely gorgeous! What a creation! What an awesome Creator!

Love the look on the lizard. :-) It's kind of an Andy Rooney look, wouldn't you say?

Of course, we do. It have Passion flowers here, so thanks for sharing yours, Sandra. We also do. It have lizards like Leonard.

I love the exotic-looking blossom. I wish this plant was hardy enough to grow outdoors here. I grow mine in a pot in my sun room but so far this year it has leaves only.

The color is exquisite on the flower and the little lizard does look annoyed at you...LOL I am surprised he does not run away.

LC said...

He does seem to radiate disapproval, but I approve your passion plant photos, every exotic detail!

I had never seen a passion plant flower until last year when we were in New Caledonia. They are so beautiful and intricate and you've captured them well. P.S. Not crazy about your photo companion!
