Backyard in July #1

Our beloved tree is gone, but it left behind this view from the side yard.

Did you know my favorite exercise is Chewing?

Night blooming cactus bloomed Saturday, 6 blooms and 20 more ready for tomorrow... We are looking UP UP UP. these are 30 feet in the air...

Sunday AM UPDATE: this post was on auto post, got up today and there are 49 of these blooms hanging in the tree like a giant bridal bouquet...

above and below are the same photo, I took it in the dark with flash, below I lightened it so you can see the details.

Wow, what a sky view, that was!

See, the beloved tree may be gone, but you can salvage with super sky views, now and then.

Ahhhh yes, "Auntie" is being "Miss Polley-Anna" this morning.

Beautiful night blooms. Chewing is a great exercise!! And chewing celery, has a negative effect. But who likes to chew celery, thinking chewing chocolate is better for the soul!!!

Love how the colors in the flowers are similar to the colors in the sky. Blue and white are such a peaceful combination.

I can't believe your backyard jungle. The night blooming cactus is really something.
I like the description of the blossoms like a bridal bouquet.

These little blue flowers look like periwinkles, but I bet they're NOT. My very favorite is the next to last one, it looks so natural, but it must be you and not the sun that made it look so sunny! Because NO blooms in the sun, right?

I hate it when we have to take a tree down, but that sky is so beautiful! And also those blue flowers whatever they are. I am a sucker for blue flowers.

With a view of the clouds that look like those, I would take that view over a tree. Dont get me wrong, I LOVE TREES but those clouds are beautiful.

You have an amazing backyard with so much beauty to photograph.

I love your sky view, big fluffy clouds are my favorites. Speaking of clouds, your 49 blooms on the cactus must have looked a little like a cloud.

Chewing? You are too funny.

Now you have a beautiful sky view. Even though tour tree is gone, I am confident it won't slow your photo documentation of the natural (and sometimes unnatural) in your personal corner of the world.

The exotic cactus blooms are amazing!
