Sounds exactly like me and whatever creature I am trying to photograph. Most are not usually as accommodating as this heron was for you! Great shots Sandra!

Love the photos and comments!! Hmm, Harley. I wonder if Will and Kate are considering that name for little Prince Charming?

Best,
Bonnie

Cute comments with the pretty photos! Our heron that hangs around the pond won't stand still long enough for me to get close to him.

Wow, those yellow eyes and that long and sharp beak!! One of my favorite things about your blog is your captions, they always make it so much fun. If I just looked at these pictures, they are cool, but that is all. BUT when you add your captions, I ALWAYS have to laugh!!! They really add the FUN to it! That is something I am not that good at and really need to work on, people love to laugh. The last picture looks like you posed him!!! So how much did he charge?

I had a smile on my face the whole time I was reading the story about Harley, the heron. This could have been or could be a children's book. Love it. Love the photos! Great job, Sandra!

I wish all creatures were as accomodating as Harley. Him and Jake have something in common with the lizzard thing :)

Once Harley got over his shyness he gave you some great poses. Or maybe he realized that if he posed for your camera he would be famous. Either way he is a very handsome guy.

That is delightful.
Your sense of humor shines through.
I would never have thought of that...they would be photos that got dumped not woven into a fantastic story!

Funny!
I'm catching up backwards, can't believe I missed these many posts. But I've been away out at the house some days and other days it's just been too hot to spend much time in my study at the computer.
