Each morning the sun pours in the kitchen window illuminating my silk flowers on the kitchen table. Sun can make even fake flowers beautiful.
Meanwhile, out in the yard today, there were 48 more blooms on the Night blooming cactus, the below photo if of one that bloomed yesterday and one that will bloom tonight.

Doesn't 'Photograph" translated from the greek mean "light drawing". That is what your photos are today.
Hmmm, after seeing those silks, I may have to add some to a sunny spot near my slider! Thanks, Sandra!...:)JP
Wow ~ those really do look real! Pretty!

Those silks are beautiful!! I would not have guessed they were other than real. Did you actually count all those pending blossoms on your plant? Wow!
Best,
Bonnie
Morning sun makes almost everything look good, the exception being...streaky windows!!
Beautiful, Sandra! And I love those shadows cast by the blinds. Awesome cactus blossom!
Awesome pics, Sandra. I always love the way sunshine "highlights" something within a room. Love those night blooms, too.
Sandra your pictures are a delight and these today are very special takes.
Pretty, pretty.
your silks look real. :)
Your silk flowers look REAL. When I looked, I wondered who had given you the flowers! I love the last shot with the combination of the cactusy stem then the spreading flower on the end!

You could have fooled us we thought the flowers were real. MOL Mom loves that vase too.
Mom and I think maybe you should hire someone w a great big honking camera to come in to get a pic of that gorgeous night blooming cactus. Of course you may have to pass a collection plate firs.
hugs madi and mom
What a beautiful shot and the flowers look very real! Love the shadows too.
Great morning light captures- those night blooming blossoms are pretty even when they are closed.
I didn't know they were silk! I guess the sun fooled me there.
If I had not read the title, I would have thought the flowers real, too.
Fake or real, you really know how to capture the beauty.
Love all the shadows and contrast of the first photo.
That is why I love the sun....great photos Sandra
I love the way you have the sun shining on there too - can't believe they are silk. sandie

48 more blooms?!! wow!!! that is just amazing!! I would imagine one of those photos of the blooms would be so pretty blown up to poster size. I should have taken pictures of the photos at the hospital today, I didn't even think about it until now.
maybe I will remember to next time.
Gorgeous.
The way you captured the lighting is striking!
Those silk flowers fooled me, I thought they were real when I first looked at the photo. Your morning sun hit the blooms perfectly to give you great photos.
Even before it blooms the night blooming cactus is awesome.
