The Power Of The Sun- Re-post July 09

A beam of sunlight can and does turn the Ordinary into Extraordinary

A very ordinary palmetto frond, becomes a thing of beauty with a sunbeam behind it. I found this in my back yard yesterday and started looking for other things that the sun changed by simply beaming on or through it.

A simple yellow sunflower, glows with wonderful light

Macro shots of a very large elephant ear. The sun shining through it showed every small detail

.
Even a dead leaf glows with beauty when highlighted by the power of the sun.

Simple ferns, become glowing lace with the power of the sun.

Two dirty chairs in a courtyard, become a work of art when the shadow of the sun is cast.

The Power of The SON changes things from Ordinary into Extraordinary

The SON commands us to Love One Another, and if we do, that love can change our ordinary lives into extraordinary lives

Amen to the power of the Son.
Love the sunshine and the works of art you discovered.
I especially like the palmetto leaf. It looks like fabric when done in macro.
Have a great day Sandra,

Beautiful post---talking both about SUN and the SON... Love it!!!!

We take things like the SUN for granted don't we? BUT--when we have so much rain, we find that we miss that ole sunshine... BUT---I can reverse that and say that when we have drought, I miss the rain!!!!!! Crazy human I am...

Hugs,
Betsy

YES, I LOVE this. And frankly, I won't even go flower hunting if it is too cloudy, they just look FLAT and kind of boring. The first one looks like someone has turned a spotlight right on it. The sunflower is gorgeous, then ALL THOSE LEAVES WOW WOW, I love that one (the third) It is something I have not seen anything like in the way you did it. I'm just looking again at the other one under it, now I don't know which I like best. This is a wonderful Sunday Sunlight post!

The sun can make an enormous difference in photos as you just proved. I love the elephant leaves. The second photo looks like fabric, maybe a quilt and it's gorgeous.
I know you would like to see more of the sun these days.

I really like the way you used the sun to bring out the beauty of these 'ordinary' objects. Very well done!
